About Panda Chinese Restaurant

Welcome to Panda Chinese Restaurant, a local establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category situated at 22 Towne Dr, Bluffton, SC 29910, USA. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview of Panda Chinese Restaurant based on the feedback available from online customer reviews. While specific details about the restaurant's environment, comprehensive services, distinct features, and any current promotional offers are not provided beyond these reviews, we can synthesize the existing information to offer a balanced perspective.

The physical environment of Panda Chinese Restaurant is not described in the provided reviews. Therefore, local users interested in the ambiance and setting for potential dine-in experiences would need to visit the location or contact the restaurant directly at (843) 815-6790 or mobile phone +1 843-815-6790 for more information. Details such as seating capacity, decor, and overall atmosphere are currently unavailable.

Regarding the services offered, the reviews primarily focus on the food quality experienced through takeout orders. One review mentions a customer who had been a patron at a previous location, suggesting that Panda Chinese Restaurant may have relocated. This implies that they likely offer takeout services, and it is reasonable to assume they may also provide dine-in options at their current address. However, there is no explicit mention of delivery services in the provided feedback. Local users seeking clarity on the full range of services, including dine-in, takeout, and potential delivery, should contact the restaurant directly.

The features of Panda Chinese Restaurant are also not explicitly detailed. Chinese restaurants typically offer a diverse menu encompassing a variety of dishes such as fried rice, noodles, soups, and various meat, poultry, and vegetable entrees. However, the customer reviews provide some insights into the perceived quality and preparation of specific dishes at Panda Chinese Restaurant, which could be considered a form of feature – the style and execution of their cuisine.

One customer review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the food, describing it as "AWFUL," "greasy," and "bland." Specific dishes mentioned include sweet and sour chicken (criticized for its sauce), egg rolls (described as oily), egg foo young (noted for being dense and greasy), and lo mein (characterized by greasy noodles and dried-out chicken). This review paints a negative picture of the food quality experienced by this particular customer, suggesting potential issues with the preparation and ingredients used for these dishes.

Conversely, another review offers a more nuanced perspective. This customer mentions a positive history with the restaurant at a previous location, highlighting a consistent and positive interaction with a specific staff member who was initially present at the new location. However, their experience with a recent order, including wonton soup and other items, was not as favorable compared to their past experiences. The reviewer specifically questioned the amount of meat in the wonton soup and noted a decline in quality, even resorting to adding their own broth enhancer. This suggests a potential change in food quality or preparation methods since the relocation or a change in kitchen staff.

The contrasting nature of these two reviews indicates a potential inconsistency in the food quality or a difference in individual preferences and expectations. The negative review is quite critical of several dishes, pointing to issues with greasiness, blandness, and the quality of ingredients. The more moderate review suggests a past positive experience but expresses disappointment with a recent order, particularly the wonton soup.

There is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special deals at Panda Chinese Restaurant in the provided reviews. Local users interested in potential discounts, lunch specials, or other promotions should inquire directly with the restaurant.

In conclusion, Panda Chinese Restaurant in Bluffton, SC, is a local Chinese eatery that has received mixed reviews regarding its food quality. One customer reported significant dissatisfaction with multiple dishes, citing issues with greasiness and flavor. Another customer with a history of positive experiences at a previous location expressed disappointment with a recent order at the new location. Given this feedback, local users in Bluffton may want to approach Panda Chinese Restaurant with caution and consider these recent experiences when making a decision. For more information about their menu, services (dine-in, takeout, delivery), and any potential promotions, contacting the restaurant directly is recommended.

The food is AWFUL. Everything we got was greasy and bland. The sweet and sour chicken’s sauce obviously comes out of a can. It was BRIGHT red and so sweet with no depth of flavor. The egg rolls weighed a ton and were saturated with oil. The egg foo young was dense and hard to even tell what was in there it was so heavy and greasy. That one got thrown directly on the trash after one bite. Lo mien, same deal. Greasy noodles but then weirdly dried out chicken, it was probably frost bitten. Never again. Truly nasty 🤢

Oh my god I love this place, I just got off a long day of work and ordered from this place. It was INCREDIBLE. The foods nice and hot (despite me walking back to the hotel AND taking a shower before eating it), it's incredibly saucey and flavorful, the egg rolls were perfectly crunchy, the service was amazing and fast, and I only spent 16 dollars?? You need to try this place, best Chinese food I've ever had.

One word I would use to describe my food was clean tasting ... like, it was all super fresh and healthy food where you tasted flavors and the natural textures were there. They didn’t try to over fry / oil / fatten the food to make it better, so it felt like the real food rather than what food critics call an Americanized version. The spring rolls were the perfect crunchiness and suppleness and did not fall apart, and were perfectly sized and rolled. The vegetable and bean curd soup has a flavorful, pleasant broth, the bean curd (tofu) and vegetables are perfectly cooked, and the soup warms and fills you but makes you feel brighter and fed rather than heavy and weighed down. Even the fried noodles they give you on the side were fresh, light and not over done. I will definitely be returning!

The reviews for this place are funny, but the owner’s responses are hilarious. 😂 We ordered General Tso’s Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Fried Rice & Vegetable Fried Rice. The General Tso’s had a fishy flavor. The portions are very generous! You’re getting your money’s worth, but in quantity, not quality. Edit: My husband woke up sick in the middle of the night after we ate here… He said it happened the previous two times he ordered from here too… We’ll be eating somewhere else next time!
