Pancho's Mexican Buffet

We drove over 4 hrs to this Panchos location since we haven't had our Pancho's fix in years since our local location closed. The service was slow and stingy with the manager slinging our food on our plates. Once we sat down we started eating and WOW we were ever disappointed. The tamales was very bland, the chili sauce was so watered down it ran off the tamales. The cheese enchiladas wasn't good either with no green chili's in the cheese sauce to give it some kick, bland bland. This was the case with just about every item we tried. The dessert bar was pathetic looking with no ice cream, which all the old ones had. Only the sopaipilla's were good. So disappointing to drive so far and waiting to eat some good food only to realize how bad the food really tasted. Not coming back there ever!

Absolutely love this place. I wish there was one near me since I grew up on this. My dad and I occasionally make the two hour trip up there. You have to get their soapapillas, if you don’t, you’re missing out big time. Warm fried dough with honey? You cannot go wrong. Everything here is tasty though and service is always great.

Went here for the nostalgia! Ate here all the time. Had no idea there was any open anymore. Safe to say, it hasn’t changed much in 30 years. Just not good.

We were visiting the area from Dallas. Looking for a good place to have lunch before we headed back. Google reviews and maps lead us here. So excited to see the nostalgia of Pancho's is the same. The food was excellent and fresh. Service amazing. This will be our go to place when back in the area. I didn't take too many pics, I was too busy eating lol

Haven’t been to a Panchos in years since there isn’t one in my area so we made the drive to Humble and it did not disappoint. Food taste the same as it did back in the day when we would have Panchos for dinner once a week. Great food. The wait staff here are friendly and attentive.
