About Pan Asia Restaurant
Pan Asia Restaurant, located at 120 Amherst St in Nashua, New Hampshire, falls under the category of Chinese Restaurants serving the local community. However, recent feedback from customers suggests significant concerns regarding the restaurant's service, management, food quality, and pricing. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Pan Asia Restaurant based on publicly available reviews, highlighting both potential drawbacks and any points of consideration for local users.
A recurring theme in the recent customer reviews of Pan Asia Restaurant is a severe lack of care for customer service, particularly from the management. One long-time frequent customer shared a deeply negative experience involving multiple instances of not receiving items they had paid for, including add-ons and paid substitutions to combo meals. The customer attributed these issues initially to the inexperience of a cashier who no longer works there, indicating a potential problem with staff training or retention.
Seeking to address these repeated order errors, the customer visited the restaurant and patiently waited for 15 minutes to speak with the manager. Their intention was simply to inform the management about the discrepancies in their previous two orders, without demanding any free items or compensation. However, the customer reported being met with immediate hostility and aggression. The manager allegedly began "YELLING" accusations, questioning the customer's integrity by asking, "what kind of scam are you trying to pull?"
Despite the customer's attempts to explain their history as a frequent patron and their desire to simply inform the restaurant about the ongoing issues, the manager reportedly continued to yell and dismiss their concerns. When the customer mentioned being a frequent caller whose name was likely known, the manager allegedly retorted that their "phone number means nothing." Feeling that a productive conversation was impossible due to the manager's behavior, the customer chose to leave the premises.
This deeply negative interaction led the customer to conclude that the management of Pan Asia Restaurant does not value the customer experience. They also noted a high turnover rate among cashiers, having never seen the same cashier twice despite eating there weekly at one point. This observation raises questions about the working environment and employee treatment, which could indirectly impact customer service.
The customer explicitly questioned why anyone would support a business that immediately accuses a long-term, frequent customer of being a liar and a scammer without even listening to their concerns. They felt that the manager's aggressive reaction, without any attempt to understand or resolve the issue, demonstrated that "ONLY GREED motivates this place." As a result of this experience, the customer decided to boycott Pan Asia Restaurant and recommended that others support a nearby establishment that values its customers and employees.
Another recent review echoed concerns about the management and also raised issues regarding the quality of the food and pricing. This customer reported that the "food has gone downhill" while the "prices way up." This combination of declining quality and increasing cost is a significant concern for local users looking for value and consistent quality in their dining choices.
Adding to the negative experience, this second reviewer mentioned being charged an additional $0.75 for duck sauce on a $45 takeout order. They questioned this charge, particularly given the size of their order, and reported that the manager became "instantly upset," accusing them of "just looking for something for free." This interaction mirrors the previous reviewer's experience with the manager's confrontational and dismissive behavior when questioned about service or charges. As a result of this incident, this customer also vowed never to return and recommended a competitor, Lilac Blossom, as an alternative.
Based on these recent reviews, Pan Asia Restaurant appears to be facing significant challenges in customer service and management. The aggressive and dismissive behavior reported by two separate customers in their interactions with the manager is a major cause for concern. This suggests a systemic issue within the restaurant's management that is negatively impacting customer relations.
Furthermore, the reported decline in food quality and the increase in prices indicate a potential shift in the restaurant's priorities, possibly focusing on maximizing profit at the expense of customer satisfaction. The practice of charging extra for condiments like duck sauce on a substantial takeout order further contributes to a perception of poor value and a lack of customer appreciation.
The high turnover rate among cashiers, as observed by one reviewer, could be a symptom of underlying issues within the business, potentially affecting the consistency and accuracy of orders, as initially suspected in the case of the missing items. Inexperienced or frequently changing staff might be more prone to errors, leading to the order inaccuracies reported by one customer.
Given the strong negative sentiments and specific incidents described in these reviews, local users considering Pan Asia Restaurant should be aware of the potential risks associated with order accuracy, customer service, food quality, and pricing. The experiences shared by these customers paint a picture of a restaurant where customer concerns are not taken seriously and where management may be confrontational rather than solution-oriented.
There is no information available in these reviews regarding any positive aspects of the current operation of Pan Asia Restaurant. The focus is overwhelmingly on negative experiences related to management, service, food quality, and pricing policies. Therefore, it is challenging to identify any features or promotional information that would be beneficial for local users to consider.
In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for Pan Asia Restaurant at 120 Amherst St in Nashua, NH, raise significant red flags for potential local users. The reports of rude and aggressive management, issues with order accuracy, declining food quality, increased prices, and charging for basic condiments suggest a business that may not prioritize customer satisfaction. Based on this feedback, individuals seeking a positive and reliable Chinese dining experience in Nashua may want to exercise caution and consider alternative establishments that have demonstrated a commitment to valuing their customers.

Customer Reviews
Frequent customer but the business just doesn't care. Last 2 times I ordered I did not receive the items I paid for. These were "add ons" to the combos and paid substitutions so I assume it was because of the inexperience of the cashier (who seemed clueless and no longer works there). Bottom line, I did not get the additional food I paid for nor the substitution I paid for even though I have the receipts to prove it. So I went to the biz and patiently waited for 15 min until the Mgr wasn't busy to let him know that I missed significant food on my last 2 orders. Didn't ask him for anything free or anything like that. I got immediately attacked. He started YELLING at me saying, "what kind of scam are you trying to pull?" I told him I'm a frequent customer and wanted him to know I've been paying for items I'm not getting and he just yelled at me saying, "what are you trying to pull?" I told him I'm enough of a frequent customer that they know my name when I call and he said "your phone number means nothing." I don't believe in having a screaming contest with people in a busy business so I just left. All I can assume is that the management doesn't care about the customer experience. They can't keep cashiers because I've never seen the same cashier there twice and I used to eat there about once a week. So maybe they are hard on the employees. I don't know. All I can ask you is why would you support a business that calls a long time and frequent customer a liar and scammer instantly without even listening to him. I came in with the intent of just informing them and ordering dinner, but once I got LITERALLY yelled at for "trying to pull something," it clearly shows you that ONLY GREED motivates this place. There is an equally good place right down the street around the corner. Use Google Maps and support a place that values their customers and employees. I'm sad to lose this place as one of my go to places, but the only way to stop lack of customer service and appreciation from a business is to boycott it. I wanted nothing from them but a voice and was denied even that. Sad.
Food has gone downhill and prices way up. Charge you $0.75 for duck sauce...you spend $45 on take out and have to pay extra for half full duck sauce?? I questioned the manager and he became instantly upset claiming I was just looking for something for free... Never again! Lilac Blossom always from now on.
Great food and cool combination plates you can make. There are quite a few in the are but this is the one I always go back to. Haven't let me down yet. They even have delivery.
Good food but if you are going to have it delivered fresh always use Doordash or Uber eats. You don't want some lowlife, or a former drug addicts delivering your food.
We've been in Nashua 14 yrs and this was our go to place. At first, the food was good and prices reasonable. It has gone downhill. They charge you for extra duck sauce when you don't ask for extra, one time they delivered 1 meal instead of 2, their prices for 2 have gone from 23.00 to the present day 45.00 for the exact same meal. The fried rice is mushy. The egg rolls are soggy. The chicken wings have no crisp. I called last night to complain about an order placed and I was verbally assaulted. As nice as I was trying to explain that 2 things were missing from the order I was rudely told " don't come back here again" and was then hung up on. The shock of it caused me to call back and I was told they would call the police on me. Their food has declined, their prices are inflated and they have the worst customer service ever. Never again. I'll take my money elsewhere.
