Palm Island Restaurant & Lounge

The food at Palm Island was absolutely divine! Every dish was bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. From the perfectly cooked snapper to the smooth cocktails. Leanna’s service truly elevated the experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered spot-on recommendations that we absolutely loved. Her warm, friendly demeanor made us feel so welcomed, and her enthusiasm for the food was contagious. We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience—thank you, Leanna, for making it unforgettable!

Great music. I had some friends in town for the end Xmas holidays. We wanted somewhere to lounge for the night, and this came up. The atmosphere was great. The music was very lively. Although the crowd was mostly Guyanese. It was great. (Was looking for a raggae atmosphere). I would do again. The security was great at the door. The staff was very attentive to get us seated and getting our order's. After hours. Live DJ.

We family and I recently dined at palm island. Our food, drinks and dessert were amazing. We got the chicken fried rice and chicken lo mein and it was very flavorful. Our drinks were very good. The dessert - salara with ice cream is a must try! Our server was very attentive and did a great job of providing recommendations. The restaurant is very big, clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

I visited this place with two friends after seeing a social media video. People…go here feeling hungry because the portions are extremely big which is what we(consumers) love to see. Now the big test was digging into my order and the chef did not disappoint, presentation was good and food was tasty. The drinks also were great. Overall, we had a good time at Palm Island the food and drinks were good plus the DJ music added to the lounge experience. Leaving we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, a pleasant and very humble guy. Will definitely be visiting palm Island again.

Ordered takeout 3X soon after they opened on July 11th. I have ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein & Jerk Chicken Fried Rice. The first 2X, the Chicken Chow Mein was fantastic. The most recent, today it was too sweet, along with the Jerk Chicken Fried Rice. It seems as if a totally different person cooked these dishes from the previous 2X I ordered. Of note, my 1st time ordering the Chicken Fried Rice, the rice was very sticky. The 2nd time I went back, I mentioned to the front desk about the quality of the rice. The manager said they were using an electric stove and had negative customer feedback about the quality & taste of the food. The manager stated that they switched over their stoves to gas. The rice definitely did come out looking & tasting better. No self-respecting restaurant cooks their Chinese food on an electric stove. You need a high-heat gas stove & a wok, in order to bring out the flavor, that's unique to Chinese food. The food portions are good & so is the quality. I have have spoken to them about the inconsistent taste of the food and they have been very receptive. Let's hope these are growing pains & they sort out the food consistency issue. This place has potential, because when they make the food properly, it tastes pretty darned good!
