About Paik's Noodle Aurora 홍콩반점

Paik's Noodle Aurora 홍콩반점, located at 12101 E Iliff Ave Ste K, Aurora, CO 80014, USA, offers a unique Chinese restaurant experience specializing in Korean-Chinese cuisine, particularly known for its noodle dishes. They can be contacted at (303) 284-7176 or via mobile at +1 303-284-7176.

Based on customer reviews, Paik's Noodle Aurora is a place worth trying, especially for its popular noodle dish, Jaengban-jjajang. This dish features generous portions of fresh, in-house, hand-cut noodles drenched in a delicious black bean sauce with a subtle spiciness that leaves a pleasant warming sensation. It includes a mix of seafood and pork, along with some vegetables, making it a substantial meal.

The Jaengban-jjajang is served with pickled daikon, extra black bean paste, and fresh onions on the side, allowing diners to customize their experience. One reviewer found the portion size large enough to share but thoroughly enjoyed it as a single serving. The presence of a predominantly Asian clientele is also noted as a sign of authenticity, which is something this reviewer and their spouse actively seek.

For takeout orders, the creamy shrimp and tangsu were highlighted as excellent dishes for a birthday dinner at home. While the jjajang was a little sweet for one reviewer's preference, it was still satisfying. The jjambbong, however, was considered "mid" as takeout due to the noodles becoming soggy, suggesting it might be better enjoyed when dining in. The restaurant is also commended for generously providing pickled radish with takeout orders. The pricing is generally considered reasonable and worth the value of the food.

As a local Chinese restaurant platform featuring Paik's Noodle Aurora 홍콩반점, we can recommend it to those seeking authentic and flavorful Korean-Chinese noodle dishes. The hand-cut noodles and signature black bean sauce of the Jaengban-jjajang appear to be a standout feature. The positive feedback regarding the creamy shrimp and tangsu also suggests other noteworthy options on the menu. For the best experience with noodle-based dishes like jjambbong, dining in might be preferable. The reasonable pricing and generous portions add to the appeal of this local establishment.

I have been driving by this place on my way to here and there and every time I drive by I think to myself, I should try that place! Well tonight was the night and I am so glad I did. The kids are at choir and the Hubby is working late, so I am all alone with this plate. I had their most popular Noodle Dish. Jaengban-jjajang. What a perfect night for slurpy saucy noodles: A little over cast and dreary. In here the flavors are bursting. The portion size is generous enough to be shared by 2, but I am kind of down right now. Something I was excited about didn’t pan out. The world has gone insane. So tonight I am face first in a pile of the most delicious noodles I have had in a really long time. You only live once! In the words of a long lost friend, David Vincent Francis Dominique Desantis (Italian Catholic from NY): Eat the world before it eats you! Working on that, Dave! 🫣🤭😆 The noodles are made in house and hand cut and that I absolutely love! Nothing compares to fresh noodles! They’re drenched in a delicious black bean sauce that is just spicy enough to leave warming tingles on your lips, almost like being kissed, but shouldn’t kick back later. Recommend bringing a date and enjoying this place together! No bite goes with out a bit of seafood or pork and there are even some veggies, so you can skate by calling it a complete meal! Just Bless all the people who feed us their love and culture through the wonderful foods they prepare! Served with Picked Daikon, Extra Black Bean Paste and some fresh onions on the side. You can’t go wrong with this one! I see some more visits in the near future!!! Also, this place has an attribute that Hubby and I look for in any Asian cuisine establisment… A mostly Asian clientele. That is kind of our Litmus Test for whether the place has some authenticity. We always like to look for the local and authentic, so we can support small business owners (we’re snobby like that)!! I didn’t expect to eat the whole thing, but here we are. Come on out Greater Denver area and show this Noodle House some love!!!💕

We did take out for a birthday dinner at home and the highlight dishes were definitely the creamy shrimp and tangsu. The jjajang was a little sweet for my preference but it still hit the spot. The jjambbong as takeout was kind of mid because the noodles got soggy but I bet they would be better if we dined in. Also they really doled out the pickled radish and did not skimp out! I think the pricing was very reasonable and worth the value of the food. We’ll definitely be back!

When I tell you I was NOT expecting what came of this place. I am not lying. The food here was phenomenal. And even that doesn't describe how good it was. I watched a cooking show recently with Jong Won Paik and his pictures were all over this restaurant. I though, huh, he looks familiar. Then I looked him up, it's HIM!! Don't sleep on this place, RUN don't WALK. These are shareable portions btw

Last time I had this good noodle was when I was in Hong Kong. I did not think something like this would be available here in the state. They provided complimentary tea. Like the tea was so good.

We came here with high expectations after watching Culinary Class War. The food was okay but the menu is misleading. Beef jjampong is described as nonspicy seafood noodles with beef broth and it came out with NO SEAFOOD. At first the chef said the menu was mistyped and then after we showed the picture which has both shrimps and beef they reclaim that shrimp has been taken out of the dish?!?? Blunt lie. You could have offerred me a bowl of seafood on the side if you admitted the mistake of forgetting seafood in our bowl. Enjoy the other food but disappointed with this attitude.
