Pa' Los Chinos Restaurant Deland

The restaurant has good portion sizes and flavor. However, please check your order before you leave the establishment… their ordering system sometimes omits items even though you paid for them and it won’t show up on the kitchen ticket. They have been open for a few weeks and hopefully the issue will be resolved in the near future. Update after a year: Over the year I have ordered a couple of times and no issues were found. The rice is fresh and no items were omitted from my order.

First time in today spoke to Umberto asked for half gallon of rice and two orders of carne Frita. He advised me to get the combos to save a few bucks. I said ok, but I don't want fries. He said fine you'll get extra rice. Two combo orders was over $30. So I get home and guess what I got FRIES!!!! Exactly what I didn't want. So I figured maybe the food taste great. NOT!!!!! Fries, soggy of course. Rice tasted okay, my biggest issue was that the pork was really tough. I didn't pay $30 for two combo's to get the wrong orders and very tough meat! Pa los Chinos no. Pa la Mi...a!!!! No vuelvo, won't be back! They have a very limited menu so getting things right shouldn't be a problem. Go elsewhere.

This is a "Chinese" restaurant run by Hispanics and the food tastes like you just told your Hispanic mom, "Hey, I'm craving Chinese food," and she said, "We're not going out. I can make it at home." Not saying that she doesn't cook well but this is definitely not gonna satisfy that craving. The place is small and appears clean. The girl at the counter was nice. I ordered to go. They were pretty fast. Portions are large but options seem limited. I had to order extra instead of just an upcharge for replacement. I'd say the food is good but not what I'm looking for when I think Chinese food.

This restaurant was also recommended to me, and the food is excellent in flavor, the portions are more rice than meat and fries as seen on picture for Res-broccoli and we ordered also Lo Mein de pollo was really good and good amount of everything. We ordered to go , I asked someone who has been there before if it is good the food and answer, it's really good! We travel 15 minutes to home and food was still hot.🇵🇷👍🏻👍🏻 excellent! 👌

Fantastic spin on some classic American Chinese staples, paired with some great stuff like fried garlic plantains, classic fried chicken and French fries, and more. Low on grease and high on quality. Expect to take your food to go unless you show up at an unusual time. Friendly staff.
