About Pa’ Los Chinos Restaurant Davenport

Pa’ Los Chinos Restaurant is located at 7563 Osceola Polk Line Rd in Davenport, Florida, offering a unique take on Chinese cuisine with a Puerto Rican influence. As part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Pa’ Los Chinos aims to provide flavorful dishes in a clean environment with fair prices and waiting times.

Customers have generally enjoyed the food at Pa’ Los Chinos. Dishes like the pepper steak, spare ribs, and garlic tostones have been highlighted as particularly delicious. While one reviewer noted that the fries were a little pale, they were still considered good. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was also appreciated, leading to a positive first impression and a recommendation for others.

Another first-time visitor mentioned hearing great things about the restaurant from friends, who compared its food favorably to Chinese restaurants in Puerto Rico. This customer ordered the 3-piece chicken combo with added shrimp to the fried rice (at an extra cost) and a side of tostones with garlic sauce. They found the chicken to be crispy and juicy, while the fried rice was described as just okay. The tostones were also okay but were suspected to be the frozen kind rather than homemade, which can affect the taste.

This reviewer also noted that the menu prices were on the higher end for a Chinese food restaurant. However, the positive aspects of the food, particularly the chicken, suggest that Pa’ Los Chinos offers quality dishes that might justify the slightly higher cost for some patrons. The willingness of a first-time visitor to return and try other menu items indicates a generally positive impression.

Overall, Pa’ Los Chinos Restaurant in Davenport seems to offer tasty Puerto Rican style Chinese food with some standout dishes. The environment is clean, and the service appears to be fair in terms of price and waiting time. While the prices might be a bit higher than typical Chinese restaurants, the quality of certain dishes, like the pepper steak, spare ribs, and fried chicken, makes it a place worth considering.

So yesterday was my first time at this restaurant. I've heard great things from friends, stating that their food is just as good as the Chinese restaurants in P.R. I ordered 3 piece chicken combo. I also added shrimp to the fried rice (it costs extra) and also ordered a side of tostones with garlic sauce. The food was good. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The fried rice was just okay. The tostones were okay as well, although I think these are the frozen kind and not made from scratch. That makes a big difference in taste. I might go back to try a different menu item. One thing to note is that the menu prices are on the high end for a Chinese food restaurant.

Food was great. It's 100% Chinese food Puertorrican style. Cashier was very nice and helpful. Try not to order at the moment of arrival or you will have to be patient. My wait time was about 40 minutes but I understand I didn't call or placed an order online and they had several orders in. The food is real good though.

The place is fine and clean The rice was cold. The wings were under cooked. The tostones might have been frozen tostones not sure. The ribs were good. 10 wings. $18 no fries. Maybe a bit expensive. House fried rice with no shrimp unless pay an extra $1

While visiting a friend in Kissimmee area they recommended this place and how amazing the food was and the tostones! Well first and foremost they don’t accept Amex over the phone since we had to pay over the phone….just an fyi so assuming they don’t take it at ALL. My husband went with his friend to grab the food after we placed the order over the phone and when they arrived they didn’t greet them and were not very welcoming. Ok, honestly the food wasn’t the greatest for me at least. Probably the best thing out of everything was the rice and the tostones. The fried chicken was not “fried” didn’t have that crunch you get when you order fried chicken. The rice with the shrimp was not bad, I’m glad the shrimps were a good size not super tiny. Definitely not a place I would order from again. This is Puerto Rican style “Chinese” food not what I’m used to.
