Tea leaf salad tastes good but a few bites felt sandy. Mango chicken curry was ok. The recommended noodle dish was mushy and tasted weird to me. Also it was hot outside that day, and it was a bit muggy inside. AC not keeping up? 3 stars. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Found this gem through other patrons that frequent this place and left reviews. Never had Burmese food before and are not familiar with the flavors. We eat every style of Indian, we love Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese , Malaysian and Japanese cuisine. This was distinctly a new style and a blend of Asian styles , some Indian, some soups like Thai , Japanese ramen or Pho like. Our verdict, flavors are more subtle, the tea leaves add a unique flavor for sure and the lentils and pulses in most dishes we got, were great; added a crunch. That said my husband liked it a lot, my son and I liked it. It wasn't loved it - we must come back. But not because the food wasn't good. But because we like stronger seasoning and flavors. Overall loved the experience and glad we did it. But not a worth the 1 hr drive for me. Service was great. Is a BYOB place so if that is your thing , be aware. Overall really enjoyed this experience. I will be back if I happen to be in the area.

This was my first time trying Burmese food, and it left a great impression! I loved the texture of the Tea Leaf Salad, from the nuts and sunflower seeds to the thinly shaved vegetables. The lime and jalapeño added a nice tang and kick. Our main dish, Coconut Chicken Noodle Soup (Ohn-No-Kauk-Swe), came out in less than five minutes. I was slightly disappointed that it wasn’t steaming hot. However, the dish had very tender chicken and a strong but not overwhelming coconut flavor. The waiter was easygoing, though it felt like he was trying to rush us out since we arrived an hour before their 2 PM midday break. Other observations I had included that they use paper tablecloths and had bottled water on the table.

I was surfing internet few days ago as my mom who is a Myanmar native is craving for her native food and we got lucky enough to find this place. Starting off with our order Had an amazing tea leaf salad which is a part of our diet its a traditional salad made with fried pulses, nuts and veggies (Tastebuds revived) I highly recommend everyone to who is not allergic to seeds and nuts to have this and there comes our most favorite fried bread stick with a boiled yellow peas loved it absolutely. Moh-Hin-Gar (its a National Burmese Dish) native Burmese usually have it with fish oil. But I prefer to have it as it is. It’s an amazing dish and we ended our dinner with a green tea cheesecake desert. My mom couldn’t stop thanking me for finding this place and taking her to have her favorite food ever since she was a kid. The Service: I never got to ask the person’s name but he was extremely amazing and hard working. The entire restaurant is managed by one guy who never let any table wait or get disappointed he made sure every table got their food with in 5-10 mins. When we were pronouncing the dishes names in native language he asked if we ever visited Burma. When I said my mom is from Burma he made sure to customize our orders in a way which I normally never expected. I don’t think any other restaurant could do. He is absolutely great and so are the chefs. Places like this deserve to get the maximum reach. I usually never leave reviews this long. But trust me this place deserves it. Anyone going to the place please try the items I mentioned and the guy in the front knows how to customize it as per your taste. Ambience: Cozy and felt like home I would say!
