About P.F. Chang's

Located at 1127 Woodruff Rd in Greenville, South Carolina, P.F. Chang's is a Chinese restaurant offering a range of dishes and dining experiences. As a part of the broader category of Chinese restaurants, P.F. Chang's aims to provide local users with a taste of Asian-inspired cuisine in a comfortable setting. You can reach them at (864) 297-0589 or their mobile number +1 864-297-0589 for inquiries or reservations.

Based on available information, P.F. Chang's generally offers a distinctive restaurant atmosphere. Many patrons have historically noted the ambiance and service as positive aspects of their dining experience. The decor often features a blend of modern and traditional Chinese design elements, creating a visually appealing environment for guests. The service is typically described as attentive and welcoming, contributing to a pleasant dining occasion.

P.F. Chang's is known for a menu that blends traditional Chinese cuisine with contemporary and American influences. Signature dishes like Chicken Lettuce Wraps have been a long-standing favorite. The menu typically includes a variety of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees featuring chicken, beef, pork, and seafood, as well as vegetarian options, noodles, and rice dishes. Desserts and a selection of beverages, including teas and cocktails, are also usually available.

However, recent customer reviews provide mixed perspectives on the current state of the restaurant, particularly concerning the food quality. One reviewer expressed disappointment with their recent meal, noting that the Chicken Lettuce Wraps were unexpectedly sweet and the soup portion was small for the price. This customer felt that the current food quality did not compare favorably to their past experiences at the same location many years prior, leading them to conclude that the restaurant had declined in quality, even comparing it unfavorably to fast-food alternatives.

Another recent review echoed concerns about food quality, specifically regarding a Spicy Orange Chicken dish. This customer, a frequent purchaser of the dish, reported significant inconsistencies in appearance and taste compared to previous orders. They described the chicken as soggy rather than crispy and noted the addition of uncooked orange slices, a departure from the usual preparation with cooked oranges in sauce. This reviewer's attempt to resolve the issue with the management was unsuccessful, resulting in dissatisfaction and a decision to take further action. Their experience led them to advise against ordering takeout due to perceived inconsistencies in quality control.

It is important for potential diners to consider these recent experiences alongside the general reputation P.F. Chang's may have established over time. While the environment and service have historically been praised, recent feedback suggests a potential decline in food quality and consistency. Customers looking for reliable and authentic Chinese cuisine may want to weigh these factors when making their dining decisions.

P.F. Chang's, as a Chinese restaurant in Greenville, aims to cater to individuals and groups seeking an Asian dining experience. Typically, such establishments are suitable for various occasions, from casual meals to more celebratory gatherings. The availability of takeout and potentially delivery services (though not explicitly mentioned in the provided information) is also a common feature of this restaurant category, offering convenience for those who prefer to dine at home or elsewhere.

Promotional information is not available in the provided text. Generally, Chinese restaurants may offer lunch specials, early bird discounts, or promotions for holidays and special events. It would be advisable to contact P.F. Chang's directly or check their website or social media channels for any current promotions or special offers.

In conclusion, P.F. Chang's at 1127 Woodruff Rd, Greenville, SC, presents itself as a Chinese restaurant with a historically pleasant atmosphere and service. However, recent customer feedback raises concerns about the current food quality and consistency. Potential patrons should consider these recent reviews when deciding whether to dine at this establishment. We went to PF Chang recently and needless to say neither one of us were impressed with our food. The restaurant atmosphere and service was nice but we didn’t enjoy our experience. The last time we went to the restaurant was more than 14 years ago to celebrate my birthday. I would have been happy if the food was similar but it wasn’t. I ordered the soup and chicken lettuce wrap. The soup portion was too small to be $7 or $8 bucks. My chicken lettuce wrap was sweet and was not expecting that at all. It was very unsettling to taste the flavor of it when it’s supposed to be their signature entrees. I can’t remember what my Husband got but he didn’t care for his either. We packed up our food paid the bill and left disappointed. We drove to Spinx and ordered their fried chicken. We will most likely never eat here again because it’s turned into a Panda Express!

Had a taste for the spicy orange chicken that I purchase almost every week, but was highly disappointed today. I purchased this same dish yesterday, and it didn't look or taste like the spicy orange chicken I was given today. The oranges are always cooked and drenched in orange sauce, this time they just threw 2 uncooked orange slices on top. The chicken was not crispy as usual, but soggy and tasted like they threw some leftover chicken from yesterday in the microwave and tried to pass it off as fresh. As I told the supposed "manager," I purchase this same exact dish almost every week so I know what it's supposed to look and taste like. I asked for a refund because I don't trust food after you make a complaint, which is the reason I hardly ever return food. I took pictures and will be taking further action since I wasn't able to get it resolved when I returned it to the counter. Do not purchase to go orders here, they could care less about the quality of the product they're giving you.

I have written hundreds of reviews and take it seriously; I hope you find my review helpful. I used to love going to PF Changs. I have to admit, I only go about once a year now. Last night was my first visit in at least 12 months and my first visit to this location after recently moving to Greenville. My welcome was unenthusiastic. I walked in around 8:30 pm on a Saturday night. The young woman working the hostess stand looked up at me like I interrupted her social media browsing and asked me in a monotone-could-care-less voice: “can I help you?” 🤦🏻‍♂️ I replied, “I’m hungry.” She wanted to seat me at a table and I asked if one of the booths empty was available (some 10-15 feet away) to which she replied “they are out of the service area.” I politely asked her to please ask someone if I may be seated at a booth. I counted at least 5 available not counting the dirty ones un-bussed, which were about 5 more. She said in her monotone voice: “We have to go back to the front.” After a minute or two, I was seated at a booth. My Server was excellent. Her name was Kehrstin. No complaints with her and only appreciation for her easy approachable style, her positive energy and her sincere professional service. Thank you, Kehrstin. I was disappointed to find that their eggplant dish had been removed. I suggested that they keep it as a secret menu item since they would only require the eggplants to make it as all the other ingredients for that dish are still in use. But I digress. My pork dumplings were very tasty. My Ma Po Tofu dish was absolutely to die for, delicious. (Thanks for the recommendation, Kehrstin!) Heres my other rub: they served my main course just 5 miutes after my appetizer which was also after just finishing my first dumpling as I was reading emails. I wish they wouldn’t rush the main. The restaurants was less than half full and still 2 hours from close. I would have appreciated my main to arrive later. The Server who brought the food told me the 2 sides of the kitchen don’t communicate with each other. Sounds like an easy fix if I were reading this and a manager. I will be back as my Server was indeed excellent and my food was, after all delicious. They just need a little help in a few places.

I went to order my wife a Margarita since the display one the table (every table) says Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights get a margarita for $8.99 and the lady said “oh we aren’t doing that yet!” ??? Then why are they displayed on every table. Portions were lacking a bit too. Must be running a tight money ship.
