P.F. Chang's in Greensboro can be contacted at (336) 291-1302 or via their mobile number +1 336-291-1302. These phone lines are available for making reservations, placing takeout orders, inquiring about catering services, or any other questions you might have regarding their offerings.
Based on the online reviews from real customers, P.F. Chang's in Greensboro generally receives positive feedback, with particular praise for certain dishes and aspects of the service. However, some reviewers also point out potential areas for improvement, such as consistency and pricing.
One reviewer noted a perceived decline in quality over time but still found the experience to be "pretty good." They strongly recommended making a reservation, especially on weekends, indicating that the restaurant tends to be busy during peak hours. This suggests its continued popularity within the Greensboro dining scene. The reviewer specifically mentioned the "orange chicken" as "tasty" and advised asking for it spicy, implying that customization options might be available. They also shared an experience where they had to request extra sauce for their "Pad Thai" due to it being omitted by the kitchen, highlighting a potential issue with attention to detail in food preparation. Finally, this reviewer commented on the pricing, noting that it is "pretty expensive," which suggests that P.F. Chang's positions itself as a more premium dining option.
Another reviewer had a very positive experience, specifically commending a staff member named Katie for providing "very sweet and excellent" service. This positive feedback on service is a significant aspect of the dining experience at P.F. Chang's. This reviewer also expressed a strong opinion on the food quality, stating, "As always PFChangs have the best Chinese food in US! Highly recommend for good quality meals that don’t upset your stomach!" This suggests a consistent and high standard of food that is also mindful of dietary sensitivities, which can be a key factor for many diners.
Considering these reviews, P.F. Chang's in Greensboro appears to offer a generally enjoyable dining experience with well-regarded dishes like the orange chicken and a reputation for quality meals. The service, as highlighted by at least one reviewer, can be excellent. However, potential customers should be aware that the restaurant can be busy, necessitating reservations on weekends, and that the pricing is on the higher end. There might also be occasional oversights in food preparation, such as missing sauces, so it's advisable to check orders upon arrival. The option to customize dishes, like requesting the orange chicken to be spicy, is a potential feature worth exploring.
As a contemporary Chinese restaurant chain, P.F. Chang's typically offers a diverse menu that goes beyond traditional Chinese-American fare, often incorporating influences from various Asian culinary traditions. Their signature dishes, such as the orange chicken and pad thai mentioned in the reviews, are popular choices. The menu usually includes a variety of appetizers, soups, salads, noodle and rice dishes, wok-fired entrees featuring chicken, beef, pork, and seafood, as well as vegetarian options and desserts. They often emphasize fresh ingredients and made-from-scratch cooking. The fact that a reviewer specifically mentioned pad thai suggests that their offerings extend beyond purely Chinese cuisine.
The services at P.F. Chang's typically include full dine-in service with attentive waitstaff, as indicated by the positive mention of Katie's excellent service. They also offer takeout services for customers who prefer to enjoy their meals at home. Given the recommendation for reservations, it's likely that they have a system in place for booking tables, especially during busy periods. P.F. Chang's often caters to special events and large groups, so catering services might also be available. The need to ask for missing sauce on a dish suggests that while service is generally good, there might be occasional lapses in quality control in the kitchen.
The environment of P.F. Chang's is generally known for its contemporary and somewhat upscale ambiance. Their locations often feature modern decor, artistic elements (like the iconic horse statues), and a lively atmosphere. The Greensboro location at W Friendly Ave likely follows this trend, offering a more refined setting compared to casual takeout-focused Chinese restaurants. The fact that it gets busy on weekends suggests it's a popular spot for social gatherings and special occasions.
P.F. Chang's, as a national chain, often has various promotions and special offers. These can include seasonal menus, lunch specials, happy hour deals, or rewards programs for frequent diners. To learn about any current promotions at the Greensboro location, it would be best to check their official website or inquire directly when calling to make a reservation or place an order. They might also have special menus for holidays or events.
In summary, P.F. Chang's in Greensboro, NC, offers a more refined and contemporary Chinese dining experience with a menu that includes popular dishes like orange chicken and pad thai, with the possibility of customization for spice levels. The service can be excellent, as highlighted by positive staff interactions. However, it's advisable to make reservations on weekends due to its popularity, and be aware that the pricing is generally higher than that of more casual Chinese restaurants. While the food quality is generally good, there might be occasional inconsistencies in preparation, such as missing ingredients. P.F. Chang's likely provides dine-in, takeout, and potentially catering services, all within a modern and lively environment.
For those in the Greensboro area looking for a more upscale Chinese dining experience with a diverse menu and a stylish setting, P.F. Chang's is a popular choice. The positive reviews regarding food quality and service, along with the recommendation to try the spicy orange chicken, make it a place worth considering for a special occasion or a more indulgent meal. Just be mindful of the potential for busy periods and the higher price point compared to other local Chinese options.

PF Chang’s has gone downhill over the years, but it’s still pretty good. Make a reservation if you’re going on the weekends, because it’s busy. The orange chicken (ask for it spicy) is tasty. We had to ask for extra sauce for the Pad Thai because the cooks forgot to add it. It’s also pretty expensive.
Katie was very sweet and did an excellent job! As always PFChangs have the best Chinese food in US! Highly recommend for good quality meals that don’t upset your stomach!
Dined here for Valentine’s Day. Our waitress (Vex) was amazing, very attentive, quick & she provided us with professional service. She was very accommodating. She made our valentines dinner very special w/her friendly services even during the rush of lovers, friends & family day. Please continue to make the world a better place w/your kindness if you see this!
This is one of my favorite places and this day didn't disappoint. We had a wonderful server, Bex, who was extremely friendly and attentive. The food and atmosphere are always very good. Because we were going to get out favorite appetizer, lettuce wraps, we decided to go with the special for $19 per person that included appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 soups/salads and it saved us about $30 dollars without the deal we would have not had the salad.
Could not have had a better experience! Have always loved the food! Tonight was the first time we ate with our daughter who has an egg allergy. our waitress Morgan could not have been more perfect and more accommodating! She took the time to bring a printed menu tailord to our daughters specific allergen and make sure the food ordered and made was right! She checked several times with the kitchen and then back with us to make sure the meal was safe for our daughter! The food was delicious as always but the extra time and at taken by Morgan and the kitchen staff really set this dining experience apart from others! It was wonderful!
