Chang's presents a somewhat varied experience, with some customers expressing disappointment in certain food items and service speed, while others have highlighted exceptional service from particular staff members.

One customer who recently dined at P.F. Chang's in Annapolis found the restaurant to be nice in terms of ambiance but felt that the food did not meet their expectations. They specifically critiqued the fried chicken, noting that it had an excessive amount of batter and seemed to have been double-fried, resulting in a less than desirable texture. In contrast, they found the Mongolian beef and shrimp dumplings to be good. However, their experience with the teriyaki chicken was also negative, indicating inconsistency in the quality of different dishes. Furthermore, this customer reported issues with the service, mentioning that their server forgot their husband's beer and that their own sangria took a considerable amount of time to be served. Despite the restaurant not being full, the service during their visit was described as slow, leading them to conclude that this would be their last visit to this particular branch.

On a more positive note, another customer had a significantly different experience, specifically highlighting the exceptional service provided by a staff member named Phoenix. This reviewer was so impressed with Phoenix's demeanor and customer service skills that they felt compelled to commend him publicly. They described Phoenix as the nicest person in the entire restaurant and noted that he was also training a new employee while still providing exemplary service. This positive interaction with Phoenix was so impactful that it became the sole reason for this customer to consider returning to the restaurant. They even encouraged others to seek out Phoenix during their visits and inquired about his work schedule, emphasizing the outstanding level of service he provided.

Considering these two recent reviews, the overall picture of P.F. Chang's in Annapolis is somewhat mixed. While the restaurant may offer a pleasant environment, the food quality appears to be inconsistent, with some dishes like the Mongolian beef and shrimp dumplings receiving positive feedback, while others, such as the fried chicken and teriyaki chicken, have been criticized. The service also seems to vary, with one customer experiencing slow and forgetful service, while another encountered truly exceptional and memorable service from a specific staff member.

As a full-service restaurant, P.F. Chang's in Annapolis offers dine-in services, including a bar area where beverages like beer and sangria are served. It’s nice restaurant but food wasn’t great as much as we expected it to be. The fried chicken has too much batter and seems it had been double fried. The Mongolian beef and shrimp dumplings are good. However, the teriyaki chicken wasn’t that good. Our server forgot my husband’s beer and it took a while for my sangria to be served. The restaurant wasn’t full but the service during our visit was slow. This will be our last visit to this branch.

Phoenix you were great brother! You honestly were the nicest person in the restaurant. You were also training a new employee while showing exemplary customer service. You are the only reason I’d be coming back! So what days do you work brother? Everyone go see Phoenix!

Mediocre experience from start to finish. Went for an early dinner with my daughter on. Friday evening. The fact that the large restaurant was mostly empty should have tipped me off that our dining experience would be poor. We had a three course "feast." We started with a salad that was lettuce with house dressing and Chinese noodles. Our next course was lettuce wraps. That was fine. I had the Chang's crispy chicken which was frozen chicken nuggets drenched in a sugary sauce. The sauce soaked into the chicken making it mushy. My daughter had honey sesame chicken which was okay. Our waitress seemed miserable throughout the entire meal. No smiling. Barely polite, just going through the motions as she waited on us. I won't return.

The sweet and sour chicken is really good! But the orange chicken was meh. The lo mein was dry. And the appetizers (the ribs, pork dumpling, & crab rangoons) left something to be desired. But if you’re eating here, you already know that it’s commercial and not super authentic anyway. Wait till there’s a deal to eat here—we had a free appetizer and a discount, so I don’t regret it. I just wouldn’t want to pay full price for this place.
