About P.F. Chang's

Located at 7341 Corporate Blvd in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, P.F. Chang's stands as a Chinese restaurant offering a wide array of dishes and services to local diners. As a platform category specifically dedicated to Chinese cuisine, P.F. Chang's aims to provide an authentic and engaging dining experience. This introduction is based on publicly available information and recent customer reviews to offer an objective overview for local users.

P.F. Chang's is a well-known chain of restaurants that has established a presence in various locations, and the Baton Rouge branch aims to deliver a similar dining concept. The restaurant offers a menu encompassing familiar Chinese-inspired dishes, catering to a broad range of palates. From classic appetizers to more substantial entrees featuring seafood, beef, and poultry, the restaurant seeks to provide a diverse culinary selection.

Based on recent customer feedback, the experiences at the Baton Rouge location appear to be varied. One customer who visited from out of town expressed significant disappointment with their lunch experience. They cited issues with the food quality, describing dishes such as the Crab Wontons, Crispy Honey Shrimp, and Pepper Steak as "awfully bland." This reviewer also mentioned that the wontons tasted like they were frozen and felt that the quality and taste of the food did not justify the prices, especially considering the portion sizes. They suggested that a buffet might offer better value and taste, and concluded that they would not return for a second visit unless the food quality improved.

In contrast, another customer shared a highly positive experience during happy hour. This reviewer specifically commended Mr. Son, the manager, for enhancing their visit. They highlighted a recommendation made by Mr. Son for the Salt and Pepper Prawns, a dish they were previously unaware of on the menu, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The reviewer noted Mr. Son's attentiveness not only to their table but also to other guests and his positive interaction with the team. This feedback suggests that the management and potentially certain menu items can contribute significantly to a positive dining experience.

Regarding the service, the first reviewer described it as "okay" but mentioned that their waitress could have been more attentive. This indicates that while the service was not overtly negative, there might be room for improvement in attentiveness to customer needs. The second reviewer's positive comments about the manager indirectly suggest that the service, particularly when engaging with the management, can be a strong point.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was described by the first reviewer as "okay but a little bland," echoing their sentiment about the food. This suggests that the ambiance might not be a standout feature for all visitors. However, it's important to note that individual perceptions of atmosphere can vary, and other diners might find the setting more appealing.

Considering the mixed feedback, local users might want to weigh these experiences when deciding to dine at P.F. Chang's in Baton Rouge. The positive review highlights the potential for enjoyable experiences, particularly during happy hour and with recommendations from attentive staff like the manager. The negative review serves as a caution regarding food quality and value, suggesting that consistency might be an area for improvement.

We came from out of town and wanted to stop here for lunch after hearing all sorts of great opinions about P.F. Chang’s, I am disappointed to say we were left very unsatisfied. We ordered the Crab Wontons, Crispy Honey Shrimp, and Pepper Steak which came out to $70. The food was AWFULLY bland. Wontons tasted like they were frozen. The quality and taste of the food was not up to par at all with the ridiculous prices not to mention the small portions. You’re better off going to a buffet instead because the food will be WAY better and you will get much more for less. I would not come back here again unless you like mediocre-tasting food. Highly disappointed after hearing people gas this place up. The service was okay but our waitress could’ve been a little more attentive. Atmosphere was okay but a little bland just like the food.

Our family of 4 has just retired PF Changs. Worst food for the price out of all places. Almost $17 for about 1/2 cup of hard fried chicken thighs. Orange chicken was drenched is orange sauce, everything was just bad. So many better options and could’ve saved well over $100. Never again. It’s not the same as it once was. Even the lettuce wraps were bare looking with tiny little pieces of romaine. Oh well, it’s not super expensive fast food.

Food was so GOOOOD! Raven was a very attentive waitress! We got the chef's special, it comes with a. Appetizer, your choice of soup or salad, and two entries. There was so much food so we split one entrie and brought home the other one. Great food, and not expensive at all, we spent $40

Brayden Stephens was phenomenal!! He made eating here a wonderful experience. I seriously hope his boss sees this review!! Brayden needs a raise!🖤❤️ He kept making sure we were good and our drinks were filled. There were a couple of things that we had asked for, more than twice 😟. We had our two younger cousins with us, so they had spilled, needing more napkins, needed an extra booster seat..etc. But Brayden did what we asked for with no problem. 🩷 After we were done with the food we ordered, we ordered ice cream. As Brayden came out to serve our ice cream, he had another waiter come out with him and had the bubble blower going as Brayden served us our ice cream!! Very sweet of him to go out his way and do that for us!! I'm hoping we have Brayden as our waiter again at our next outing. If not, I'll ask for him!! I am very pleased and happy after leaving.
