About P.F. Chang's

P.F. Chang's, situated at 1725 Briargate Pkwy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a well-known establishment in the Chinese restaurant category, offering a contemporary approach to Asian cuisine. Located in a convenient area of Colorado Springs, P.F. Chang's provides both a dine-in experience and delivery services, with a contact phone number of (719) 593-8580 and a mobile number +1 719-593-8580 for inquiries and reservations. This restaurant is part of a larger national chain recognized for its stylish ambiance and a diverse menu of signature dishes.

Based on recent customer reviews, the experience at P.F. Chang's in Colorado Springs appears to be significantly different depending on whether one chooses to dine in or opt for delivery services. One overwhelmingly positive review highlights an exceptional dine-in experience. The server, Erika, is lauded as "A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!" and credited with making a substantial contribution to the overall enjoyment through her friendly, outgoing, bubbly, energetic, funny, and communicative nature. The reviewer also praised the atmosphere, noting the "dim lights and a cozy booth" that created a great ambiance. This suggests that the physical environment of the restaurant is conducive to a pleasant dining experience.

The same positive review also raved about the food and beverage offerings. They began with cocktails, the Rising Dragon and the Shanghai Southside (which particularly impressed the reviewer and is slated to become a new at-home favorite). Appetizers included the Northern Style Spare Ribs and a complimentary order of BBQ Pork Spare Ribs due to a kitchen "happy little accident," both of which were thoroughly enjoyed. For main courses, the reviewer ordered their usual Crispy Honey Chicken, while their husband tried the Ma Po Tofu, which was described as "SO good" with a light crisp, perfect spice level, and well-chopped tofu. The sauce was noted as very tasty, and the broccoli was perfectly cooked – soft yet crunchy. This dish was so impressive that it might become a new favorite for the reviewer. Despite feeling full, they concluded their meal with the Banana Spring Rolls, accompanied by "heavenly" coconut ice cream, which they were glad they didn't skip. The reviewer appreciated that the spring rolls were served in pieces, making them easy to share and eat with chopsticks. This detailed positive feedback indicates that the dine-in food quality and presentation are generally high, with several standout dishes and a thoughtful approach to serving.

However, a starkly contrasting review details a severely disappointing delivery experience through DoorDash. This long-time loyal customer, who had always dined in and had consistently fantastic experiences, found the takeout to be a "complete letdown." They explicitly stated that "the food is only great when you dine in," indicating a significant drop in quality when ordered for delivery. The portions were described as "shockingly small," the noodles were "dry and plain," and the dessert was so tiny it felt like a "joke." Furthermore, the reviewer felt that the price did not match the poor quality of the delivered food.

The negative delivery experience culminated in a particularly unsatisfactory order of Pad Thai with extra sauce, which arrived cold, flavorless, and "painfully dry." The Singapore Street Noodles were equally disappointing, described as dry and unappetizing. Even the cucumber salad, expected to be fresh and flavorful, was plain and forgettable. The reviewer expressed the frustration of craving a delicious meal and receiving a complete disappointment multiple times through DoorDash. As a result of this consistent inconsistency in food quality for delivery orders, this long-time customer made the "difficult decision to never order online or visit the restaurant again." This strong negative sentiment highlights a critical issue with the consistency of P.F. Chang's food quality when it comes to their delivery service.

In summary, the customer reviews for P.F. Chang's in Colorado Springs present a dichotomy between the dine-in and delivery experiences. The dine-in experience is portrayed as highly enjoyable, characterized by excellent service from staff like Erika, a pleasant atmosphere with dim lighting and cozy booths, delicious and well-prepared food (including standout dishes like the Crispy Honey Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, and Banana Spring Rolls), and thoughtfully crafted cocktails. This suggests that dining in at P.F. Chang's offers a premium experience that many customers appreciate.

Conversely, the delivery experience through DoorDash is described as significantly inferior, with issues such as shockingly small portions, dry and flavorless noodles (in dishes like Pad Thai and Singapore Street Noodles), underwhelming sides like the cucumber salad, and an overall poor quality that does not justify the price. The stark contrast between the positive dine-in reviews and the negative delivery reviews indicates a potential inconsistency in how the food is prepared or how it holds up during transit. This is a crucial point for local users to consider based on their preferred way of enjoying restaurant meals.

For local users looking for a Chinese restaurant in Colorado Springs, P.F. Chang's at 1725 Briargate Pkwy appears to be a strong contender for a satisfying dine-in experience, offering a pleasant ambiance, attentive service, and a menu of flavorful and well-received dishes. However, those considering delivery should be aware of the reported significant drop in food quality and portion sizes, which has led at least one loyal customer to cease ordering online altogether. Therefore, if the intention is to enjoy P.F. Chang's, dining in seems to be the recommended option based on the current customer feedback. There is no specific promotional information mentioned in the provided reviews, so it would be advisable to contact the restaurant directly at (719) 593-8580 or +1 719-593-8580 to inquire about any current specials or promotions.

Our server, Erika, was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Friendly, outgoing, bubbly, energetic, funny, great communication - she made at least half of the experience! Dim lights and a cozy booth made for great atmosphere! We originally intended on eating at another nearby restaurant but it was closed unexpectedly and we were pleased to be seated without much wait. Food was delicious as always. We started with cocktails, Rising Dragon 🐉 and Shanghai Southside 🍋(the latter which will most definitely become my new at-home cocktail go-to), and apps, Northern Style Spare ribs and a surprise addition of BBQ Pork Spare Ribs which were made for us by a happy little accident, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed!!! Next, I ordered my usual, Crispy Honey Chicken. My husband decided to try something new, Ma Po Tofu, which was SO good. Light crisp, perfect amount of spice, and I loved how they were chopped into smaller pieces! Sauce was really tasty and broccoli was soft but crunchy - made to perfection! May very well become my new fave! Even though we were incredibly full (and Erika was gracious enough to box up our extras) we finished with the Banana Spring Rolls and I was so happy we didn't skip out! The accompanying coconut ice cream was heavenly and an excellent pairing for each perfectly sliced banana bite! I appreciate that they are served in pieces instead of whole rolls as it made it easy to share and eat with chopsticks.

It’s really sad to write this review for one of my favorite dining places. I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time, always dining in, and the experience has always been fantastic — great service, great food. However, the delivery experience through DoorDash has been a complete letdown. I’m not a takeout customer; the food is only great when you dine in. The portions were shockingly small, the noodles dry and plain, and the dessert was so tiny it felt like a joke. On top of that, the price doesn’t match the quality at all. Last night was the final straw. I ordered a Pad Thai with extra sauce and ended up with cold, flavorless noodles that were painfully dry. The Singapore Street Noodles were just as bad — dry and unappetizing. Even the cucumber salad, which I expected to be fresh and flavorful, was plain and forgettable. You know that feeling when you’re craving a delicious meal, you’re hungry, and what you get is a complete disappointment? That was my experience, several times, through Doordash. After giving this place so many chances, we’ve made the difficult decision to never order online or visit the restaurant again. The inconsistency in food quality is just too frustrating. Farewell.

Solo at the bar for happy hour. Lettuce wraps are a staple and they were extra good on this day. I usually will order the Mongolian beef or honey sesame chicken and shrimp. Service is always great and if you want dessert, order the Great Wall of chocolate. I came for a challenge I was doing on a YouTube video finding the best chain restaurant espresso martini. This was good one you can watch by searching my channel @KaitRose

We hadn't eaten here in a number of years, so we popped in early on a Friday. About 4ish, 4:30ish. The food & the service was really good! 5 Stars!! I downloaded the app to start collecting $Chang's Cash. Our server, Erika, was a doll. She was helpful & patient & a perfect server!! The Mocktails were tasty, too. 🍸 My only 2 comments are in regards to 2 sauces: 1. The sauce on my LoMein was barely there. When I asked for more sauce, I was shocked at how YUMMY it was!!!!! 😁😁😁 Add more of the yumminess to the dish & it is perfection!! 👌 2. The sauce served with the red velvet cake was way too powerful. In contrast, the cake itself was slightly bland, so it needed a little help, but that particular sauce was OVER-THE-TOP-SOUR! Eeeeek!!!!

My daughter and I visited today. I was so excited to have her try this with me. I’ve been to a store in AZ but she’s never been. The service was good, she was attentive, kind. The food on the other hand was AWFUL!!! It tasted like someone poured vinegar over everything and heated it up. Was ordered the chefs taste- The egg drop soup was good, the lettuce wraps tasted funky and chicken was chewy, and the rice was way undercooked. Our main entrees were sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken. Mine was chewy and the only thing good was veggies, my daughters smelt awful and tasted like vinegar with chewy chicken in sauce. It didn’t taste like teriyaki sauce. We asked to change it out for the California rolls. She gets those and they were warm but she ate a couple. I asked for sweet n sour sauce and it looked brown in color and was tart not more sweeter- gross! The manager said.. since it’s the chefs deal and you want something different we will still have to charge you the same and add the California roll on to it. She said if she were to break it up she would still charge us for the soup, horrible rice and dinner entree. She said best thing to do is to get another entree To go. I did and I got beef n broccoli… the steak was overcooked and chewy the only thing good was the broccoli. Well $90 later for reflux and the meal for the dogs!! They didn’t complain. So sad! 😭
