Outcast Sushi

Phenomenal in all regards! The service was outstanding! I recommend the Volcano. You will not be disappointed. Jarred is an exceptional sushi chef! Priscilla is so kind and attentive. I have been to sushi restaurants all over the US and even Hawaii and this place is top notch.

Quaint place but very welcoming. While visiting Destin we found this gem! Hands down some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. The staff and service were fantastic and very friendly. The Spicy Salmon & Tuna Lover rolls, Outcast roll, Black Dragon roll, Kraken were some of our favorites. Also, their fried rice was scrumptious. They make all their sauces in-house, and have a collab with a local brewery which was stellar. This place rocks, wish we could enjoy this spot regularly!

The guys and I were looking for a new place, mid week, with the kiddos in tow. Outcast came highly recommended, and they sure owned up to their reputation! First, I had the Red Dragon followed by the Volcano. Two words for the Red Dragon, Michelin Star. The Volcano was unique in that it came out in flames. The smoked salmon was the shining star of the show. Our waitress, Maddie, was attentive and eager to work with us as it was our first time. Pro tip, they have a very unique “house” beer that they have every reason to be proud of.

This place was recommended to me by a random person, and I was excited to try it. Before heading over, I called to check the wait time, but no one answered. Still, I decided it was worth the short 10-minute drive. Upon arrival, we were seated within five minutes, despite the restaurant being short-staffed. Our waiter was friendly but never cleared any dishes. The pacing of the meal was unusual—my daughter’s dish arrived about 20 minutes before our first sushi roll, and each subsequent item came roughly 10 minutes apart. I’ve never experienced such a slow service flow at a sushi restaurant. That said, the food was high quality, and I’d be willing to give them another try. However, the long wait times and lack of table service were disappointing.

Oh my goodness it was absolutely delicious and Pat was my server and made suggestions for me because I was not for sure exactly what to order because I do not like the fishy taste, but I definitely wanted some sushi and the crab fried rice was the best I’ve ever had in all of my travels from around the world and I have traveled to over 40 countries so you’ve got to check out this place for the best best sushi and the crab Rangoon was over the top amazing delicious.
