Ordered takeout from here. Estimated wait from door to door was just under an hour. They got it to me in closer to 35 minutes. I can recommend the scallion pancakes, even after being delivered they were still nice and crunchy. I can also recommend general gaos chicken and the sweet and sour pork. We like to upgrade to the egg fried rice.
South Shores favorite Realtor here doing another food review. Honestly, this place is super authentic and you would never know it existed unless you drove here. It is off the beaten path, a little, but right in the heart of everything at the same time if that makes sense. I have to say I was absolutely impressed with the smiling staff and how nice they were. That was the first thing I noticed before even taking a bite of anything. I ended up getting the brisket wonton soup and a side of wings. I topped it off at the end with a red bean coffee. I will say this the soup was absolutely incredible, but the wings were a little too deep fried for me, but I could see how most people would love them. I highly recommend checking out this place if you get the chance as the menu is absolutely massive so there is plenty of options for everyone.
Fantastic local gem with authentic, fresh & delicious food! We were visiting from out of state & due to excellent reviews took a chance- we were rewarded with a fabulous culinary experience, trying brand new dishes & loving our meal! The owner & her mother were kind, attentive & patient as we asked questions & helped our kids make selections. I ordered a new dish (sorry I can’t remember the name!) & it was delicious, despite its subtle appearance. The sauce was well seasoned with lots of garlic & such a wonderful encounter. We will absolutely return when we next visit! 5⭐️
3.5-4 star for the wonton noodle - HK style. Wonton comes in 6 pieces and tastes great. FYI, their noodle's alkaline smell and taste is still significant. Their soup noodle is standard size, but is a little bit thicker when compared to the other wonton noodle shops in N. Quincy and Allston. I also tried the curry fish balls, and it was so so. Their HK style milk tea (hot) is one of the best I had in Boston or Mass. The staff said many people order their HK style Yuan Yang milk tea.
I’m Impressed with the lemongrass curry chicken, very flavorful and tender. The dipping sauce is very refreshing. The beef wonton soup is also good, meat is cooked perfectly.
