Eating Deliciously

We were looking around for hibachi spots in the area, and neighbors recommended Oishi. We checked it out for dinner one night. The food was alright! Not typically what we prefer for hibachi, but the prices were decent and the food came out hot and fast. They even brought out fried fish for us, on the house. That was unexpected but appreciated. Oishi had an expansive sushi menu, as well as appetizers. We ordered 2 of the hibachi chicken dinners, and an order of egg rolls. We are grateful for the experience, but I think we will keep looking for a go-to spot closer to home.

Came in absolutely starving and disappointed from a nearby Italian place, and could not have had a better experience! My food was ready in a flash, the servers were so kind and helped me pick out items, and the fresh fried snapper? SO GOOD! I had the Korean BBQ bowl and dragon roll as well, packed with fresh fruits and flavor 😋

Great Hibachi food for cheap prices. It is near the base so a lot of the customers are military. They do deliver food to the base for cheap as well! Food is pretty great but sushi is kinda lacking. It doesn’t taste as fresh as other sushi places around town. But I usually just go there for Hibachi and its great especially with white sauce. Service is also the best I’ve had in a while. Sometimes they offer you free appetizers to try out new food.

After reading these reviews, I’ve come to realize that there’s so many people who have no idea what good food is. I got the steak and shrimp hibachi to go and I don’t know what this “steak” is but it did not come from a cow. It literally tastes gamey and is way too chewy to be beef. Absolute trash. If you get your food to go, throw the food away and eat the styrofoam box, it will taste better.

Although the building doesn’t seem too welcoming, when you walk inside you’re greeted with smiling faces. The service was excellent and we even got some fried fish on the house! We were recommended this place by friends and didn’t regret coming here one bit. The food isn’t three star Michelin level food, but the prices are reasonable, the service was great, and the food is just what you need to itch that craving. 10/10 would recommend Oishi 🍣🍚
