Ocean Hai

The restaurant boasts a glorious ambiance and a stunning location, paired with tremendous service. The food was beautifully presented and the cocktails were exceptional, though the seasoning was slightly off and the fish was overcooked—still, I’d definitely return to give them another chance. Our server John D made my birthday dinner exceptional, I highly recommend that you request him.

It is sad to decrease the restaurant rating, but I would expect to get more from them. The hotel is perfect as well as the location, but the restaurant is on the level it is rated. I thought the food would be delicious, however I did not want to finish my meal, even asked for a bread slice. Sushi was ok, ribeye steak looked delicious, but I did not like the taste. My wife had chicken ramen, I think it was ok for her. Overall, atmosphere and service were very good, and I hope that they will improve their menu. It is the most popular destination in Tampa bay area, so the restaurants should be on the highest level. It was cold and windy, may be it had an effect as well.

Ocean Hai was very enjoyable to dine at as hotel guests. I will be returning as a local. It is a great place to dine and watch the sunset. The surf and turf roll was fabulous as well as the shrimp tempura roll with mango. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The overall atmosphere seemed a little snobby, the workers were very upright but friendly to us. The process they used to expedite orders seems old school and not efficient. Just some feedback, but overall great food and service. Looking forward to returning

Just had dinner at Ocean Hai , everything was incredible from start to finish , the lovely hostess asked our preference to where we wanted to be seated then we were graced with the most incredible and knowledgeable waiter , Bryce, who knew the menu inside and out . His recommendations were on point . For appetizers , my husband had the calamari which was delicious and I had fresh charred octopus that was tender and the perfect portion . My sushi was perfect . Bryce assured me two rolls would be the perfect dinner portion and it was .My husband loved the short ribs and brussel sprouts . The martinis ( lychee and espresso ) were fabulous . Would return to Clearwater just for this restaurant!

Great staff! Food was okay. It was played beautifully! Amazing outdoor view of the sunset.
