I guess I should’ve checked the reviews before ordering food for delivery. The cheese wontons taste so bitter and the dipping sauce did not compliment or make it taste any better. Usually cheese wontons have a bit of sweetness to it..this was pretty bad. The general Tso chicken with rice was not good. The chicken fried rice was awfully BLAND and no taste. The sizes of the chicken pieces were questionable? Didn’t look like chicken and wasn’t crispy at ALL. Wasted my money but that’s common trying to find a good Chinese restaurant in NY!!
This fast food. Chinese food made for Americans. Inexpensive, quick, filling with good sized portions. If that’s what you are looking for then this around the corner restaurant will do fine. They offer space to sit down and eat in, takeout, or delivery. The place is small and you can see all the cooking happening in site as you stand at the counter.
I don’t know how to explain the flavor other than it tasted watered down, even had a pale color to everything and no sauce on the bbq ribs which was weird. It didn’t taste like it was just under seasoned, it literally tasted like water. I got the fried rice with the barbecue rib lunch and even the rice didn’t just taste like white rice. It just tasted like water.
the most ordinary Chinese eatery. nothing special. they don't accept cards. Cash only. there is an ATM.
Great food at a great price. It’s simple American Chinese food. Food goes for 9.75 a meal. EVERYTHING IS CASH ONLY. Obviously so that they report less taxes. But besides that, this place is a staple to prospect park west. And has been around forever. Providing good tasty Chinese food. That is cheap and affordable. I would come back if I wanted more Chinese food. Nothing special about the place but nothing is wrong with it either.
