About Number 1 buffet

Number 1 Buffet, a Chinese restaurant located at 10125 W McDowell Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392, USA, offers a diverse all-you-can-eat experience for local diners. You can reach them at (623) 907-2111 or +1 623-907-2111.

Based on customer feedback, Number 1 Buffet is gaining popularity as a new favorite spot, praised for its cleanliness and tasty food. A standout feature is the option to create your own noodle soup, which is then cooked to order. Customers have also raved about the beef steaks and the seafood boil, describing it as "crazy delicious." The service is generally considered cool, although a 10% service fee is applied to the bill, which some customers find worthwhile for the overall experience. This restaurant appears to be a great choice for family or friend gatherings.

Another visitor highlighted the extensive food options available, suggesting that the variety is "incredibly insane." While the restaurant can get busy, the wait times are reportedly manageable.

Number 1 Buffet is known for its affordability and value, typical of an all-you-can-eat establishment. Upon arrival, payment is required before seating, and a 12% service charge is automatically included in the bill. The restaurant is spacious with ample seating. The buffet boasts a wide selection of dishes, with Sunday being a popular day due to the availability of seafood options like snow crab legs, oysters, and sashimi.

While some reviewers found the food quality to be "just okay" rather than exceptional, they acknowledged that the price point makes it a reasonable option. The variety of choices is a significant draw. Soft drinks are purchased separately and are not included in the buffet price. The dessert selection is noted as being limited, with only a few options available, including pre-packaged ice cream cups.

In conclusion, Number 1 Buffet offers a convenient and budget-friendly all-you-can-eat Chinese dining experience with a wide array of food choices. It might be particularly appealing to those seeking variety and value, especially for group outings. While the food quality may not be the primary focus for all, the overall experience and selection seem to satisfy many customers.

This restaurant is famous for its cheap price and good value since it’s an all-you-can-eat place. My friend has been recommending it to me for a while, but it’s a bit far from where I live. Finally, I got the chance to visit today. When you arrive, you have to pay before being seated, and a 12% service charge is automatically added to the bill, which seems typical for an all-you-can-eat spot. We got there around 11:00, and it was already quite busy. The restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating, and I was surprised by the wide selection of food. The main reason we came on a Sunday was that they offer seafood like snow crab legs, oysters, and sashimi. To be honest, the food was just okay—not amazing—but for the price, it’s hard to complain. They also offer a lot of variety. You can purchase soft drinks separately since they don’t include unlimited drinks. One downside was the dessert selection—there were only a few choices, although they did have pre-packed ice cream cups. Overall, I might recommend this place to friends for the value and variety, but I wouldn’t come just for the food quality. It’s more of a convenient option if I can’t think of another all-you-can-eat restaurant.

This was our favorite buffet. The food was always good whenever we went here. The sushi was our favorite but yesterday I found bones in my sashimi in several pieces and the quality has definitely gone downhill. All the food has declined in quality. Why would they make the beef roast and beef ribs sweet? They were a sugary mess and cold and dry on top of that. My wife got sick from the food as well. The place is still clean and nice looking and they still offer a military discount which is good but the prices have gone up and they make you pay a 12% service fee now which is a forced tip before you even eat. They also don’t honor their lunch price if you come in a few minutes before the dinner time if it’s crowded because “it doesn’t start until you get called to your table.” It’s a total bummer since we used to love this place. I don’t recommend this place anymore. We won’t be returning.

This place is huge, they offer a variety of food, if you are a buffet person this is the rigth place to you, I am a person who enjoy deserts and this place do not offer good ones, the cakes are plane no flavor, but for the other plates they have plenty.

I think it is great value for money on Sundays. Definate MSG in most Asian style food but loved the sushi bar and the oyster and crab legs. It had fries and nuggets for those picky autism kiddos. It helped my kids try new foods and was awesome for my teen to eat endlessly .
