About Not Just Noodles

Located at 570 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4Y 1Z3, Canada, Not Just Noodles operates as a Chinese Restaurant with a self-proclaimed multicultural menu. They can be contacted at (416) 960-8898 or +1 416-960-8898.

According to customer reviews, experiences at Not Just Noodles appear to vary significantly. One customer praised the restaurant for its good food, value, and consistent cleanliness, also noting its potentially appealing ambiance for a date. In contrast, another reviewer expressed strong dissatisfaction with the food, describing it as "awful" and "gentrified," specifically citing a tom yum noodle soup that tasted like "slight spicy Campbell's canned tomato soup." This reviewer also criticized the restaurant for attempting too much diversity in its menu, leading to a "confused identity" and a lack of excellence in any particular cuisine. While acknowledging the presence of some fresh ingredients like basil and herbs, the overall taste was deemed ordinary.

Furthermore, the negative review highlighted concerns about the cleanliness of the upstairs bathroom and the appearance of the seating area, which was described as "quite trashy." The reviewer concluded with a strong recommendation against visiting due to the perceived poor food quality and the state of the facilities.

In summary, Not Just Noodles presents itself as a Chinese Restaurant with a wide range of multicultural offerings. While one customer found it to have good food, value, and a clean, potentially cute environment, another experienced significant issues with the food quality, menu concept, and cleanliness. Local users considering dining here should take these contrasting opinions into account.

I love this place! Good food, good value & consistently clean. Plus bring a date, one of you is bound to think this place is cute (see pic)

Awful food. Claims multicultural menu but it's gentrified and tastes awful. Had a tom yum noodle soup and it tasted like a slight spicy Campbell's canned tomato soup. Maybe because it's not a Thai place. But it's not a Japanese place either but they also have Japanese menu items. And other cultures. To be fair, there are some good ingredients like a bit of fresh basil and other herbs.. but i believe this place is trying to be too diverse and has a confused identity so it's not particularly great at anything. Also the upstairs bathroom is disgustingly filthy and the seating area looks quite trashy.

Flagrantly false advertising. Showing a $14.99 all in lunch special, explicitly including tax, but they're adding tax on top and trying to blame the government.

My first experience eating here, both the cuisine from a different nationality and the restaurant. I ordered vegetable noodle and the taste was terrific! Staff were also very welcoming and kind. Gonna try some more foods again!

This is the food my asian boyfriend bought from the store a year or so ago. He said he loved this place and the taste of the food and even tipped the waiter 30% I believe. I tried a sample and it was honestly tasty :)) 😋 Chinese food seems to have this rich savory and spicy flavor. Creamy texture. It’s barbecuy and like dough drenched in a salty and sweet sauce. Still Very good tho ~ flavorful😍😍
