Customer feedback provides valuable insights into the dining experience at Noodle Queen. Several reviewers have highlighted specific aspects of the restaurant, both positive and negative, which can help local users make informed decisions. It's important to consider these varied experiences when thinking about visiting or ordering from Noodle Queen.
One recurring positive mention is Noodle Queen's breakfast specials. A satisfied customer raved about the "best breakfast specials," specifically mentioning the Combo E, which includes fried noodles, a bowl of congee, and a choice of tea or coffee for $7. This reviewer described the congee as being "packed with meat and flavor" and the noodles as "tasty." They also praised the "very good" service and the cleanliness of the establishment, even noting the spacious and well-kept bathroom. This customer expressed their loyalty, stating they "always stop by" when craving "rich and creamy congee," and highlighted the "huge" portions and "nice" staff.
Another reviewer echoed the sentiment that Noodle Queen is a "good place for lunch" and also acknowledged the breakfast combo as a "good deal," reinforcing the positive feedback regarding their breakfast offerings and potential value for money during lunchtime.
Moving beyond breakfast, one customer provided a more detailed breakdown of several dishes they tried. Among the positives, they declared the "Chicken Steak Rice" as the "best dish out of everything we ordered," describing it as "so delicious and filling." They also commended the rice dishes in general for having "awesome portions for the price." Additionally, they found the "beef with Chinese vegetables (just yao choi)" to be "really good," noting the tenderness of the beef. The "Beef Chow Fun" was also mentioned as being "good," indicating a certain level of satisfaction with their noodle dishes as well.
However, this same reviewer also pointed out some negative aspects of their experience. Having missed breakfast, they ordered ham and egg with macaroni, which they found to be "super bland," noting a lack of salt and an apparent mix-up with spam instead of ham. This suggests potential inconsistencies in food preparation for certain dishes. Furthermore, they ordered the "beef stew over rice" and were surprised to receive a dish that was primarily beef tripe with only "ONE piece of beef." Upon inquiry, they were informed that it was usually mixed with beef and tripe but that they "didn't have that much meat that day." The reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of prior notification about this significant alteration to the dish.
Adding to the concerns, this customer also reported issues with the service, stating that they were not provided with utensils or water unless they specifically asked for them, leading to a perception of "not great service." This highlights an area where Noodle Queen might need to improve to ensure a more seamless and attentive dining experience for all customers.
Considering these reviews, Noodle Queen appears to be a Chinese Restaurant in Brooklyn that offers some standout dishes, particularly their breakfast specials featuring congee and fried noodles, as well as certain lunch and rice options like the Chicken Steak Rice and beef with Chinese vegetables. The portions for rice dishes are generally considered generous for the price. However, there seem to be inconsistencies in the preparation of some other dishes, such as the ham and egg with macaroni and the beef stew, and potential issues with service attentiveness regarding basic provisions like utensils and water.
For local users in the Brooklyn area, especially those in or around Bensonhurst, Noodle Queen presents an option for Chinese cuisine with some highly praised items and potentially good value, particularly with their breakfast and lunch deals. If you are a fan of congee or looking for a filling breakfast combo, Noodle Queen might be worth a visit. For lunch, the Chicken Steak Rice and other rice dishes seem to be popular choices. However, it would be prudent to be specific when ordering other items and perhaps inquire about the ingredients and preparation methods to avoid any unexpected substitutions or inconsistencies. Additionally, customers might need to be proactive in requesting utensils and water to ensure a comfortable dining experience.
In conclusion, Noodle Queen is a Chinese Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY, known for its affordable and well-regarded breakfast specials, including congee and fried noodles. They also offer a variety of lunch and dinner options, with some rice dishes and the Chicken Steak Rice receiving positive feedback for taste and portion size. However, some customers have reported issues with the consistency of certain dishes and the attentiveness of the service. Local users may find Noodle Queen a worthwhile option, especially for their breakfast and select lunch items, but should be aware of the mixed reviews regarding other aspects of their offerings and service.

They have the best breakfast specials. I always get the Combo E which is fried noodles and a bowl of congee, and tea or coffee for $7. The congee is packed with meat and flavor and the noodles are tasty as well. The service is very good here and the place is clean. The bathroom is huge and well-kept. I always stop by when I am in the mood for rich and creamy congee. The portions are huge and the staff are nice.
This is a good place for lunch and their breakfast combo seems like a good deal. Pros: The Chicken Steak Rice was the best dish out of everything we ordered. So delicious and filling. All the rice dishes were awesome portions for the price. The beef with Chinese vegetables (just yao choi) was also really good. The beef was super tender. The Beef Chow Fun was also good! Cons: I missed breakfast so I got ham & egg with macaroni alone. The accidentally gave me spam, and the entire thing was super bland. It’s like there was no salt at all. We also ordered the beef stew over rice and when it came, it was all beef tripe with ONE piece of beef.. when we asked they said that it’s mixed with beef tripe and the meat but they didn’t have that much meat that day. Why wouldn’t they let us know that before we ordered?? No utensils or water given to us unless we asked. Not great service.
The lamb noodle soup is not the lamb noodle soup in the picture - I ordered from the picture and the guy told me its just a picture and that they dont serve that dish after my order came out. I also ordered the rice noodle with peanut sauce and it was very al dente. They have good fried chicken though. Plenty of other locations to choose from. My bill came out to $25 for one person for three items.
The waiter got our order wrong, we ordered two sausage and egg one with macaroni and one with rice noodles and both came with rice noodles. I was like ok we don’t have to make a big deal out of this but we waited 12 minutes for this precooked noodle and it came out like this. This is unacceptable.
I like their pork and beef rice noodles. The portion is great, and the price is good. The rice noodles can come with free lettuce too 😍. I did not try the congee, but the portion is large to me at a reasonable price. One dish of rice noodles can already make me full.
