About No1 Chinese Restaurant

Welcome to No1 Chinese Restaurant, located at 574 Winfield Dunn Parkway in Sevierville, Tennessee. As a local Chinese restaurant, No1 Chinese Restaurant aims to provide a range of Chinese dishes for the community. Based on recent online feedback, customer experiences appear to be divided, highlighting both positive and negative aspects of this establishment.

One enthusiastic reviewer praised No1 Chinese Restaurant for its consistently fresh food and great service. They specifically recommended the peanut chicken and spring rolls. Notably, this reviewer also asserted that it is "definitely the cleanest Chinese place in Sevierville," expressing a sense of trust and comfort in dining there compared to other local Chinese restaurants. This positive feedback suggests that No1 Chinese Restaurant may prioritize hygiene and offer some well-received dishes.

However, another recent review presents a starkly contrasting experience. This customer expressed disappointment, stating they "should have believed the poor reviews." Their primary complaints centered on the food quality and perceived value for money. At a price point of $12 per meal, they expected a full container of the dish accompanied by a box of white rice. Instead, they reported receiving a plastic container filled with only half of the ordered dish, with the remaining half being "poor quality yellow rice." This discrepancy between expectation and what was received led the reviewer to feel that the portions were a "rip off."

The same negative review detailed a $30 order consisting of one "bad moogoogaipan," one "soupy sesame chicken," and a small soup, which came with two egg rolls. While the reviewer found the egg rolls to be "actually quite good," this single positive comment was overshadowed by the overall dissatisfaction with the rest of the meal. Furthermore, the reviewer mentioned requesting plasticware due to staying in a motel and receiving forks and spoons but no napkins, indicating a potential oversight in fulfilling customer needs for takeout orders.

Considering these two recent reviews, it is evident that there is a significant divergence in customer satisfaction. One reviewer highlights freshness, service, cleanliness, and specific dishes like peanut chicken and spring rolls as strengths. In contrast, the other reviewer criticizes food quality, portion sizes relative to price, and attention to detail in fulfilling a takeout order.

The information available does not provide specific details about the environment or ambiance of No1 Chinese Restaurant. The mention of takeout service in one of the negative reviews suggests that this is an available option. The positive review mentioning cleanliness implies that the dine-in area, if present, is well-maintained according to that customer's standards. However, without further information or more consistent feedback, it is difficult to objectively describe the restaurant's environment.

In terms of services, No1 Chinese Restaurant offers both dine-in (implied by the cleanliness comment) and takeout options (explicitly mentioned by the dissatisfied customer). The positive reviewer praised the service as "always great," while the negative reviewer's experience with the missing napkins indicates a potential inconsistency in service quality, particularly for takeout orders.

Features that stand out based on the reviews include the peanut chicken and spring rolls, which were specifically recommended. The cleanliness of the establishment was also highlighted as a positive feature by one customer, potentially setting it apart from other Chinese restaurants in the area in their opinion. However, the use of yellow rice as a filler and the perceived small portion sizes for the price could be considered negative features for some customers.

Currently, there is no promotional information available in the provided text. Local users interested in any special offers or discounts at No1 Chinese Restaurant would need to contact the restaurant directly at (865) 453-9902 or their mobile number +1 865-453-9902 to inquire.

For local users in Sevierville considering No1 Chinese Restaurant, it is advisable to weigh the contrasting recent reviews. The positive feedback regarding fresh food, great service, cleanliness, and specific dishes should be noted. However, the negative feedback concerning food quality, portion sizes, and potential oversights in takeout orders also warrants careful consideration. As with any restaurant, individual experiences can vary, and it might be helpful to look for additional recent reviews or perhaps try a small order initially to assess whether No1 Chinese Restaurant meets your expectations.

In conclusion, No1 Chinese Restaurant in Sevierville presents a mixed picture based on recent customer feedback. While some patrons appreciate the fresh food, great service, and cleanliness, others have expressed significant dissatisfaction with food quality and value. Local users should consider these differing opinions and potentially conduct further research or a trial order to determine if No1 Chinese Restaurant is the right choice for their Chinese food needs.

Food is always fresh & service is always great. Love the peanut chicken & spring rolls. It’s definitely the cleanest Chinese place in Sevierville too, I don’t have any worries coming here unlike some of the other Chinese restaurants in town.

I should have believed the poor reviews. Food was awful and portions a rip off. At $12 per meal I expected a container of the dish with a box of white rice. Instead I got a plastic container filled with half of the dish and the other half filled with poor quality yellow rice. I should unloaded the bag before I paid $30 for one bad moogoogaipan, one soupy sesame chicken, and a small soup. It came with 2 egg rolls. The egg rolls were actually quite good. I told him We were staying in a motel and needed plastic wear. Got forks and spoons but the Owner still didn't put any napkins in the bag.

Wish this place took pride in their food and establishment. Do not eat here! Food was sub par, service was non existent and there weren’t even paper towels in the bathrooms. Also, FYI, salt does not replace flavor. You can tell they are only trying to keep the lights on! Do not eat here!!

So this is my favorite little local Chinese joint.... it's not big and it's not fancy but we always enjoy ourselves there. They know us when we come in and we alwaysbget our good seat. They have a great buffet price and although there can be a language barrier it never causes and problem. They truly aim to please their customers. We had my little sisters birthday lunch there and it was great.
