About NO.1 Restaurant at lillington

Welcome to NO.1 Restaurant at Lillington, a Chinese restaurant located at 20 The Square At in Lillington, North Carolina. Serving the local community, NO.1 Restaurant at Lillington can be contacted at (910) 893-5505 or via their mobile number +1 910-893-5505 for inquiries or to place an order. As a local Chinese restaurant, they primarily offer takeout services to their clientele.

Based on recent customer feedback, the experiences at NO.1 Restaurant at Lillington appear to be sharply divided, with one review expressing extreme dissatisfaction and raising significant concerns about food quality and sanitation, while another offers a highly positive account of their takeout meal. This stark contrast suggests potential inconsistencies in the restaurant's offerings or varying customer experiences.

One detailed and strongly negative review describes the food as "disgusting," stating that multiple attempts to dine there have consistently resulted in a poor experience. This reviewer specifically ordered a quart of shrimp chow mien for $13 and reported receiving a large quantity of "soggy greens" with a minimal amount of "old and unclean shrimp." The shrimp was described as being so soft that it disintegrated upon touch, leading the reviewer to believe it was either old and waterlogged in sauce or treated with baking soda for too long. Disturbingly, the reviewer also noted that the majority of the shrimp still contained fecal matter, labeling the meal a "complete rip off and unsanitary." This customer emphasized that their negative experience was not an isolated incident, having tried the restaurant multiple times to ensure it wasn't just a "random bad day," and concluded that they would definitely not be returning.

In contrast, another customer review presents a completely different picture. This reviewer admitted to being initially hesitant due to past negative feedback they had seen. However, they decided to order dinner to-go and reported their meal as "phenomenal." They specifically praised the sweet and sour chicken for being hot and crispy with large pieces of meat, and the pork fried rice for being "super flavorful." The egg rolls were also described as "robust and really tasty." This customer concluded their review by stating that they would "definitely be back," indicating a highly positive experience with their order.

Given these conflicting accounts, it is challenging to provide a definitive overview of the environment, services, or features of NO.1 Restaurant at Lillington based solely on this information. Neither review offers any insight into the restaurant's physical ambiance, as both experiences seem to be based on takeout orders. The service aspect is implicitly touched upon through the quality of the food preparation and the accuracy of the orders, where the vastly different experiences suggest potential inconsistencies in their service standards.

In terms of features, NO.1 Restaurant at Lillington offers a menu that includes standard Chinese-American dishes, as evidenced by the mentions of shrimp chow mien, sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, and egg rolls. The price point of $13 for a quart of shrimp chow mien gives some indication of their pricing, but without the full menu, it's difficult to assess the overall value. The positive reviewer's description of generous portions ("nice big pieces of meat" in the chicken, "robust" egg rolls) might suggest good value when the food is prepared well.

Promotional information is not available in the provided text. Therefore, it is not possible to comment on any special offers or deals that NO.1 Restaurant at Lillington might be running.

In summary, the recent customer reviews for NO.1 Restaurant at Lillington in North Carolina present a highly contrasting set of experiences. One customer reported severely substandard and unsanitary food, expressing strong dissatisfaction despite multiple attempts to give the restaurant a chance. This review raises significant concerns about food quality and hygiene practices. Conversely, another customer found their takeout meal to be "phenomenal," praising specific dishes for their taste and quality. This stark difference in feedback suggests that the quality and consistency of food at NO.1 Restaurant at Lillington may vary considerably.

For local users in Lillington considering NO.1 Restaurant, it would be prudent to weigh these contrasting opinions. The positive review, while encouraging, is countered by a highly critical account detailing issues with food safety and quality. Potential customers might want to consider these recent experiences when making their decision. If you choose to try NO.1 Restaurant at Lillington, it might be advisable to order dishes that have received positive feedback and to carefully inspect your order upon receipt. The significant discrepancy in customer experiences underscores the importance of individual judgment and the potential for variability in the food and service provided.

The food is disgusting. I have given them a chance multiple times and the result is always the same. This most recent time I ordered a QT of shrimp chow mien. I paid 13 dollars for a bunch of soggy greens and a handful of OLD AND UN CLEAN SHRIMP. The shrimp was actually soggy and disintegrated just by touching it which tells me the shrimp was old and soaking in that gross sauce or it was left in something with baking soda for too long. You can see that the majority of the shrimp still had poop in it. Complete rip off and unsanitary. Once again, I’ve tried with them multiple times just to make sure it wasn’t a random bad day. Unfortunately that is t the case and this is the usual experience. Definitely will not return.

I’ll admit I was wary based on some of the past reviews of this place, but we got dinner to-go here this evening and it was phenomenal. The sweet & sour chicken was hot and crispy, with nice big pieces of meat and the pork fried rice super flavorful. The egg rolls were robust and really tasty as well. We will definitely be back!

This is my first time ordering from here The rice tasted ok. However, I've never seen shrimp this small before. They were about the size of a dime. I purposely dumped the entire container of shrimp fried rice out to see if I actually got extra shrimp. 90% rice, 13 dime sized shrimp. (I ordered the $1 extra worth of shrimp) I also ordered 2 shrimp egg rolls. The first one had 2 dime sized shrimp & a lot of lettuce. Needless to say, I ate 2 bites of one egg roll & 1/4 of this container of rice. The establishment looked pretty clean and that's always a plus and the young lady I dealt with was nice.

The few pieces of chicken they used looked off. I didn't even eat a bite due to the look, smell and texture.
