No. 1 Chinese Take Out

We will be back! We have been looking for a new Chinese place since the one we frequented closed. We've tried 3 other places, and I think this place will be our go-to. The General's chicken was crispy and fresh. The egg roll was SO good! We went on a busy Saturday night, and it look a little longer than expected. The serving was also a little smaller than we've received other places. BUT the prices were fair, especially for the quality.

Stopped there for the first time and ordered the beef and broccoli with 2 egg rolls. The beef was extremely mushy and undercooked to the point where I was afraid to even eat it. The egg rolls were over cooked. I won’t recommend this place or go back.

I tried to order by phone and was informed that the price is different from what is advertised online. Upon giving me pricing as I ordered I noticed that the updated pricing was more than double from what was advertised online. When I informed the female person on the phone she got highly defensive when I advised her that they should update their website with correct pricing especially since it was more than double. Example egg foo you shows a price of $4.75 and is now $9.75. I only tried to explain that is bad business. She then started yelling at me. When I asked why was she yelling she hung up on me. That’s pathetic and rude! I never said that I wasn’t going to order. Just wondering how this place stays in business treating customers this way.

The food was decent, but the Szechuan Chicken was somewhat on the bland side, and not spicy enough. Service was fast and efficient. The online menu is outdated, so you will be better off calling ahead for pricing or picking up a printed menu from the counter.

I go here for the food, but they’re really not friendly and don’t seem to be particularly kind to non-white people. As a minority consumer, I appreciate a “hello” at the least. If customer service is important to you, this isn’t the place.
