This typically includes a variety of stir-fried dishes, noodle and rice options, soups, and appetizers, often adapted to suit local tastes.
Based on available information, specifically customer reviews, it's important to approach No 1 Chinese Restaurant with a balanced perspective. Some customers have expressed concerns regarding their dining experience. These reviews mention issues such as perceived poor customer service, particularly concerning interactions with the cashier and communication across a plexiglass divider. Several reviewers also raised significant concerns about the quality and freshness of the food.
One detailed review described a negative experience with multiple dishes. The customer reported that the wontons in their soup appeared old, soggy, and chewy, suggesting they might have been reheated. The crispy noodles served with the soup were described as stale and possibly refried. Dumplings were noted to have a sour smell and an undesirable texture, again pointing towards a lack of freshness. The egg rolls were criticized for being excessively greasy, potentially due to old frying oil or being refried. Furthermore, the sesame chicken was described as tasting old. This reviewer also commented on the pricing, suggesting that while higher prices might be acceptable for good quality food, the perceived poor quality did not justify the cost.
Another customer review was even more direct, labeling the establishment as "trash" and stating they had two negative experiences involving burnt food that had to be returned. This customer expressed disappointment, especially noting that No 1 Chinese Restaurant might be the only Chinese restaurant option currently available in Ayden.

Customer Reviews
Will not be returning. Fist of all I agree with all the other reviews about the cashier, poor customer service and talks whisper quiet across plexi glass divider. Ordered a variety of food, about $60 worth, and the food was not worth the money at all. The quality of food was bad, some tasted and looked old. I've worked in a handful of Chinese restaurants and never had food that looked and tasted this bad. Don't get me wrong I know it's "Chinese American" food so it's not authentic by no means, but I know what fresh food tastes like and this was not it. The wontons were old in my soup, very soggy and chewy, not like they had just been out in the broth but like they had been in it the day before and microwaved. Trust me I know what reheated food tastes like. The crispy noodles that come w the soup looked like they had been made days before and then refried. The dumplings had a sour smell and again texture of them was like they were old. Egg rolls were extra greasy like they were sitting in a basket and then fried again. Believe me I know most places make the eggs rolls, fry them and then freeze or refrigerated them, and then fry when they are ordered. Could have also been an old grease problem like they don't clean the fryers like they should.. Sesame chicken same thing, just tasted old. Also like previous reviews the prices are higher. Understandable if the quality is good, but I won't go back for these reasons.
This place is trash 🚮 I gave them a chance TWICE and both times I’ve had to take the food back because it was burnt. The quality and care in this place makes no sense! Sad that this is the only one Ayden has. Do better!
This by far the worst food experience ever. I ordered hibachi shrimp/steak/chicken I had more onions than meat and I only had like 4 little pieces of steak .I’ve never seen shrimp so small smh. They need to do better.
Disappointed. Got a plate full of rice not much steak in my combination plate. Service is horrible seems they need more help to help customers waiting in line to pick up orders. I kno I waited 10 minutes looking at my order bagged and ready to go but cashier was busy cooking too.
By far, the best Chinese restaurant I ever tasted! First time ordering online and having it delivered - best service and food! Their onion fried rice, fried dumplings, and chicken & vegetables are amazing!!!!!! Plus their broccoli is good too!!! Their food tastes like China King but 1 million percent better. In all honestly their food is the best I’ve ever had in my life and I was so accustomed to ordering from China King and since my last encounter with them, their terrible customer service ruined it for me for good. I will never return there. But No 1 Chinese restaurant is really nice and I will definitely try out other dishes and a dessert since the onion fried rice is awesome 👍 Otherwise, they did not disappoint me. Here though, you get traditional and it’s amazing. Keep up the great work guys!
