No 1 Chinese Restaurant

I order a lot from No.1. Food is pretty. I just ask and hope they read their reviews, is to please check your white rice before serving it. It was not quite done this time. It was a bit crunchy.

The food was absolutely atrocious. The beef and broccoli had the consistency of sour tadpoles. The aftertaste I experienced lasted with me for an hour despite brushing my teeth afterwards. I called to explain that none of the 3 people in my house could eat the food. I was told "you just don't have a taste for our food and that's not our problem" We attempted to deliver the food back and were told "we are very busy. How can I have a business if everyone returns the food. It's very hard to make money right now." If they are that busy, then they are not having problems making money. I have never returned food in my life and they refused refunding my money. I left the box of food on the curb for all the homeless people that hang out to eat. And now I am out $65 for something I get for $50 that tastes much better.

We had delivery from No1 and they live up to there name. From the delivery to the savory food...all except the eggrolls...we are very satisfied. Thank you so much!

It was my first time there and a friend of mine had invited me. The food was excellent, fresh with good proportions. I'm not that familiar with Chinese food, and the waitress was very helpful. The prices were reasonable also. The restaurant was very clean and we were in the sit-down section...and the restrooms were clean . Their takeout section was quite busy. I definitely recommend this restaurant for the food and cleanliness. It's atmosphere and seating would be good for anything from a date, family get together, or business meeting. It's right on the avenue but it's kind of out of the way once you step inside the door... it's quiet and friendly.
