About No. 1 Chinese Restaurant

No. 1 Chinese Restaurant is located at 3703 PA-378, Bethlehem, PA 18015, USA. They can be contacted at phone number (610) 868-2389 or mobile phone +1 610-868-2389.

As a local Chinese restaurant, No. 1 Chinese Restaurant has been serving the community for over twenty years. One long-time customer noted that while the food quality may have changed slightly over time, it is still considered good. This customer typically orders lo mein, fried rice, and soup and appreciates the complimentary hot oolong tea. The fact that the restaurant is the only business in its shopping center to have survived for so long was seen as a positive indicator of their food.

However, other recent feedback presents some concerns. One reviewer described the atmosphere as "very cluttered" and reported "very bad service." This customer also stated that their chicken was uncooked and had to be returned. They further alleged that the restaurant wanted to charge extra to correct the order.

Given the mixed reviews, local users may want to consider both the longevity and the recent criticisms regarding service and food preparation when deciding whether to patronize No. 1 Chinese Restaurant. The restaurant offers standard Chinese cuisine and complimentary hot oolong tea, but experiences appear to vary.

I've been eating here for over twenty years. Food use to be great, but it's still good. I think it has a lot to do with food cost and the quality that suppliers provide... I usually get lo mein, fried rice, and soup. Complimentary hot oolong tea is soothing. It's the only business in that shopping center to survive this long. That speaks volumes about their food.

Very nice people. Looks like most Chinese restaurants since covid with the plastic dividers and boxes attacked in the corners. The entrees were really good! But the fried rice we got as a side was bland and without any color... lots of soy and mustard helped it go down easier.

Ordered no1 Chinese delivered. It arrived fast. Order was shorted and I prepaid a 21% tip. When I got the receipt online, they charged mec27% tip plus a 5.66 service fee and a delivery fee. Total bill was 46.00 for a 19.00 plate and 6.00 in egg rolls. This place is a rop off.
