About No.1 Chinese Restaurant

Welcome to No.1 Chinese Restaurant, located at 991-K E Eau Gallie Blvd, Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937, USA. Operating as a Chinese restaurant, No.1 Chinese Restaurant primarily offers takeout services and may also provide meal delivery to the local area.

Customer reviews present a mixed picture of the current dining experience. One customer praised their cold sesame noodles as the best in town, highlighting the generous amount of delicious sauce. They also recommended the krab rangoon and egg rolls as being really good.

However, a more recent review indicates a decline in food quality. This customer, who previously considered No.1 Chinese Restaurant their favorite Chinese takeout, expressed disappointment with a recent order. The shrimp with Chinese vegetables reportedly contained only four shrimp and was mostly lettuce with a couple of carrot pieces. The "noodles in the bag" were described as stale, and a shrimp egg roll contained only two shrimp and was lukewarm at best.

Considering the conflicting recent feedback, it's advisable for local users to be aware of the varying experiences. While No.1 Chinese Restaurant may have been known for certain standout dishes like the cold sesame noodles in the past, recent reports suggest potential inconsistencies in food quality and ingredient proportions.

Best cold sesame noodles in town. Most places either don't have them or they put very little sauce on the noodles, but this place completely covers them in delicious sauce. The krab rangoon and egg rolls are really good too.

Food has really gone down hill. Sadly it was our fav Chinese take out. Ordered shrimp with Chinese vegetable had 4 shrimp and was all lettuce and 2 pieces of carrot. Ordered the noodles in the bag. They were stale. Shrimp egg roll had 2 shrimp. And was warm at best.

After reading the reviews which were a determining factor for me to visit this establishment. My husband ordered shrimp fried rice as he always does when we have Chinese cuisine he says you can never go wrong. Not me I tried the pepper steak (hopefully I can upload pic). First, it was bland in flavor it appeard the used an entire large onion and bell pepper because the beef was practically none existing. Lastly, this was a carryout order we were not offered plates or plastic utensils. Did they even consider that some of the patrons maybe in town at a hotel less than a mile away. I would not recommend this establishment.

Typical takeout. Had the General Tso’s chicken with fried rice combo. Good, but a little too spicy for our taste. Rice and soup were tasty. Enjoy

I have no complaint on the food or how they’ve treated me all these years. I have been going there since they opened and we get Chinese every Friday night it’s our family thing 😀 tonight I was supplementing some left over PFChangs with a small egg fried rice and an appetizer of 4 wings. I ordered like I always do, picked it up we exchanged pleasantries, paid and I left. I was in a hurry and not until about an hour later when I was on my way back to the house it dawned on me that I just paid just under $17! WHAT?!?!? For 4 wings and fried rice (small) with an egg in it. Outrageous! Like I said I’ve been going there since they opened and I’m not that type of person who think it should still cost $5 (although that would be nice😜) I understand times are different but this is too much, someone has to start standing up and give some push back. I looked online for the prices and I noticed there was a dinner for my wings and fried rice for $11+ some change, now if you’ve seen me faithfully for YEARS why would not have told me that and charged me that price??? This is how a f why places loose customers, there is no more mutual respect, they give you good service, good meal, decent price and in turn you give them your loyalty. Well today and from now on, my loyalty will be not be here any longer. It will be hard pressed to find another that we enjoy but sometimes your principles have to out way your convenience. I am to say goodbye, hopefully this will stick a chord.
