About No 1 China

Welcome to No 1 China, your local Chinese restaurant situated at 2600 Anderson Rd, Greenville, SC 29611, USA. As a Chinese restaurant serving the Greenville community, No 1 China offers a menu of Chinese cuisine primarily for carry-out, although dine-in options may be available. You can contact them at (864) 220-7088 or their mobile number +1 864-220-7088 to place an order or for any inquiries.

Details regarding the specific environment and ambiance of No 1 China are limited in the provided customer reviews. One reviewer mentioned a "really nice lady" who took their order and cooked the food, suggesting a possibly small, family-run establishment where the staff has direct involvement in food preparation and customer interaction. However, there is no detailed description of the restaurant's interior or overall atmosphere. Given that both reviews focus on carry-out experiences, the environment might be more functional for order pickup rather than a significant aspect of the customer experience.

As a Chinese restaurant, No 1 China offers a variety of standard Chinese dishes. One customer mentioned ordering "Fried shrimp with rice" but receiving "shrimp fried rice" instead, despite their receipt indicating the former. This suggests that both fried shrimp with a side of rice and shrimp fried rice are likely on the menu. Shrimp fried rice is a common dish consisting of fried rice with shrimp, vegetables, and eggs. Fried shrimp typically involves battered and deep-fried shrimp served with rice and possibly a sauce. The fact that this mix-up occurred multiple times for the same customer indicates a potential issue with order accuracy for specific items.

Despite the order error, the customer who experienced it did acknowledge that "everyone was super sweet and super nice" and that the lady who took their order was "very understanding." This suggests that the staff at No 1 China are generally friendly and possess good customer service skills, even when mistakes occur. Another reviewer also described the lady who took their order and cooked the food as "really nice," reinforcing the positive impression of the staff's demeanor.

In terms of food quality, one reviewer stated that the "Food tasted good, not the best but the prices are really good." This indicates that while the food might not be exceptional, it is satisfactory, especially considering the affordability. This suggests that No 1 China might be a budget-friendly option for those seeking Chinese takeout in the Greenville area. The other reviewer who experienced the repeated order error did not comment directly on the taste of the shrimp fried rice they received, focusing instead on the inaccuracy of the order.

A notable concern raised by one reviewer is regarding safety around the restaurant after dark. They specifically advise against going there "at dark" due to the presence of "some sketchy people hanging around" the laundromat located next door. This is an important piece of information for potential customers, particularly those planning to pick up orders in the evening. It suggests that the location might experience some safety issues outside of daylight hours, which could influence when customers choose to visit.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any specific promotional offers or discounts at No 1 China in the provided reviews. Many Chinese takeout restaurants offer lunch specials, combination meals, or discounts for larger orders. To learn about any current promotions or their full menu with pricing, it is recommended to contact No 1 China directly at (864) 220-7088 or +1 864-220-7088.

In conclusion, No 1 China in Greenville, SC, appears to be a Chinese restaurant primarily focused on carry-out service. While the staff is described as "super sweet" and "really nice," there have been instances of order inaccuracies, particularly with the fried shrimp and rice order. The food is considered "good, not the best" but is noted for its "really good prices," suggesting a budget-friendly option. However, a significant concern has been raised regarding safety around the location after dark due to activity at the neighboring laundromat. Potential customers should be aware of this safety advisory, especially when planning evening pickups. For those seeking affordable Chinese takeout with friendly service, No 1 China might be a viable option during daylight hours. To inquire about their menu and any current promotions, please contact them directly.

everyone was super sweet and super nice The lady took my order very understanding but I forgot a couple of my meals. I ordered Fried shrimp with rice, but she gave me shrimp fried rice and she told me everything was in the bag and my receipt even said fraud shrimp with rice, but I got home. It was only shrimp fried rice and it happened to me before I didn’t speak out on it, but I feel like the fifth time of this happening to me. It really gets a point. and obviously this is just my opinion me and my family‘s opinion, but we will not be eating at number one anymore

Really nice lady took my order and cooked the food. Food tasted good, not the best but the prices are really good. I don’t recommend going there at dark. Laundromat next door and there are some sketchy people hanging around there
