This is my second time at Nice Day Chinese, and on both occasions, the food has been spectacular and satisfying. The soup dumplings are savory; the kung pao chicken has good flavor; and the cheeseburger egg roll is a unique idea that works, but appeals to a very niche audience. Service was fast, the staff was informative and friendly, and overall, it was a great experience.

Best chinese food I’ve had in New York!!! A real gem and it’s a takeout place. I’ve been all over China, did a semester in Beida and lived in Hong Kong, dined at numerous Michelin starred Chinese restaurants and this place has the best Chinese food, fresh and at takeout prices.

I get takeout from Nice Day at least twice a week. I’ve had a lot of Chinese in my life, but what makes Nice Day stand out is the more traditional dishes (DIY pot) which always come with fresh ingredients and I love the option to try the different sauces. I don’t leave reviews often, but I felt obligated bc it’s really a top tier spot. They also have a great rewards program if you download the app and it’s easy to use. Food comes out fast and they are nice people :)

Take out Online order: prepared and packaged in time with appropriate amount of sauces, can add more as they keep sauces, utensils, and fortune cookies on the counter to pack yourself. Gentleman behind the counter helped with the pickup promptly The one dish that needs attention is the Mapo tofu. Both of the people who ordered the tofu in this order could only swallow one bite before discarding the rest of the meal. Would not order the Mapo Tofu. Did not resemble the dish at all. Most evident was the lack of Sichuan peppers. More aptly described as tofu in tomato water. Wonton soup broth, no flavor. Lightly salted water. The actual wonton is average at best. Average dishes were Spicy Szechuan Crispy chicken Scallion Pancakes Dan Dan Noodles Chow fun w/ Tofu Egg rolls Sesame balls The best dish was clearly steamed mixed vegetables in garlic sauce Ordered: Wonton soup Egg rolls Spring rolls Boneless spare ribs Scallion pancakes Fried Pork dumplings (8) Mapo tofu (with and without pork) 2 orders Steamed mixed vegetables in garlic sauce Stir fried DIY Dan Dan noodles Chow fun w/ Tofu Spicy Szechuan Crispy chicken

Order took forever and ordered ahead of time. Hardly any mixed vegetable mostly broccoli. Sweet and sour soup tasted rancid. Had a piece of undercooked chicken. Will not be returning.
