Planned on dim sum but ended up here. It’s been around for about 30 years. It was nostalgia for my bf who used to come here late at night years ago. Wasn’t what we had planned on but everything was so good! Service was very good. Not so much on the atmosphere but we could live with that!

I tried calling this business today at 4:50pm, but they were probably busy. I ordered from this restaurant on Tuesday night- spring rolls, egg rolls and chicken wings. While the food tasted great, today I went to eat left over which consisted f wings and an egg roll. I was shocked when I took a bite and heard a hard crunch which caused me to spit it out immediately 😳--- there were pieces of glass cooked into the egg roll. New Big Wong I'm unsure what is going on down there, but this is dangerous! I will live and not die.

My fiancé and I had a great time here. Food was fresh and absolutely delish, reminded me of my mom's cooking. Unfortunate that you can't find authentic Chinese food like this everywhere in the states. Seafood Yi Mein, Walnut Shrimp, and Stir Fried Morning Glory are must haves.

We stopped by this Chinese Restaurant ‘New Big Wong’ in Chinatown Washington DC for dinner because many places were closed for the holidays. This place has so many varieties of food on their menu. We ordered the House Special Fried Rice, Seafood Kon Chow Noodles and also Stir-fry Pork with Green Peppers in Black Bean Sauce. The food tasted delicious and came in reasonable portions. The prawns and scallops on the noodles were big and juicy too. This restaurant may look small and a bit outdated but the food tasted good, which is the most important part when you’re searching for places to eat. Improvement in their customer service is highly recommended.

Hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to. I know the building isn’t all that modern and great but the food is amazing. I love the beef and eggplant casserole. Fried rice was also very good. Prices are very reasonable considering the big portion size. The waiters were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. After a long day walking through DC and touring museums, this really hits the spot for me!
