Welcome to New Win Hing, a Chinese restaurant located at 211 Tippin Dr, Thurmont, MD 21788, USA. As a local establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category, New Win Hing aims to provide a range of Chinese cuisine options for the Thurmont community and surrounding areas. While specific details about the restaurant's ambiance and interior design are not available from the provided information, New Win Hing primarily functions as a place to order and enjoy Chinese food, likely offering both takeout and potentially delivery services based on the nature of similar establishments.

The limited customer reviews available offer contrasting perspectives on the dining experience at New Win Hing. One customer expressed significant dissatisfaction with their recent order. They ordered a General Tso's chicken meal, which was supposed to be made with white meat only, but reported receiving a mixture of white meat and gristle, leading them to discard the entire dish. Additionally, they ordered a vegetable lo mein as an alternative to meat dishes they had been disappointed with at other Chinese restaurants. However, they described the vegetable lo mein as tasting like flavorless ramen with undercooked vegetables, resulting in a very unsatisfying experience and a decision not to return.

In contrast, another customer had a highly positive experience at New Win Hing. They ordered the shrimp fried rice and a shrimp egg roll and found both to be delicious. Furthermore, their mother ordered the beef with broccoli and reportedly found it to be the best she had ever tasted. This positive reviewer strongly recommended the restaurant and expressed confidence in the quality of other items on the menu.

Given the limited and conflicting nature of the available reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive overall assessment of New Win Hing's food quality and service consistency. The stark difference in experiences suggests that there might be variability in the preparation of certain dishes or perhaps inconsistencies in ingredient quality. The positive review highlights the potential for delicious and well-prepared meals, particularly the shrimp fried rice, shrimp egg roll, and beef with broccoli. However, the negative review raises concerns about the quality of dishes like the General Tso's chicken and vegetable lo mein.

These menus typically include popular items such as fried rice, noodle dishes (like lo mein and chow mein), various meat and poultry preparations (like sweet and sour chicken, Kung Pao chicken, and beef with broccoli), seafood options, and vegetarian dishes. Ordered a general two meal That's supposed to be white meat only. We got a mixture of white meat mixed with gristle. It was disgusting. I ended up throwing my whole platter away. I also got a vegetable lo mein just because I have not been liking the meat at the Chinese places recently and the lo mein that I got was not lo mein. It tasted like flavorless ramen with half cooked vegetables thrown in. It very unsatisfied will not be returning.

I have tried alot of different asian restaurants, this place is by far the best! I got shrimp fried rice and a shrimp egg roll and they were delicious! My mother had the beef with broccoli and she said it was also the best she ever had! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and anything on the menu!

Great food and they offer small or large even for dinner. That’s great for my family because we all like different things. It was my first time getting carry out here but won’t be the last. I spent 50 bucks instead of the usual 70+ every where else. We still got the same quality if not better and didn’t over pay for portions to be left in the refrigerator for days until tossing out.

SO GOOD! Their takeout was super flavorful, fresh, and very satisfying. I usually am not fulfilled after eating Chinese food or find it’s missing flavor, but this did not disappoint. Also the staff was super friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. This will be our new regular go to spot!
