About New Super Buffet

New Super Buffet is a Chinese buffet restaurant located at 1936 MacDade Boulevard, Chester, PA 19013, USA. They can be contacted at (484) 480-6148 or +1 484-480-6148.

One customer who visited for the first time found the food to be "pretty good," stating it "wasn’t the best but it wasn’t horrible either," and indicated they "would definitely come back again in the future." They also noted that "The service was also good too."

However, another reviewer provided a more critical perspective on the buffet's overall situation. They pointed out the challenges of running a buffet with low customer turnout, leading to food sitting for extended periods and discouraging further customers. This reviewer mentioned being the only customer during multiple lunch visits. While acknowledging that the staff works hard, they believe the food quality suffers due to the lack of turnover. They also noted the restaurant's history of "many many names, iterations, and management companies." While they "LOVE buffets," they could only recommend New Super Buffet if "desperate to eat lunch and have to wait in this area for hours for something," suggesting that "Otherwise there are better buffets out there."

An unusual detail mentioned is that "they give you Verizon Fortune cookies 🤔."

Based on these reviews, New Super Buffet in Chester, PA, offers food that is considered decent and has good service by some initial visitors. However, the restaurant appears to struggle with low customer traffic, potentially impacting the freshness of the buffet offerings. It has a history of instability with multiple changes in name and management. While it might be a viable option if one is in the area and in need of lunch with limited alternatives, customers looking for a consistently fresh and high-quality buffet experience may find better options elsewhere. A peculiar feature is the provision of Verizon-branded fortune cookies. The environment is that of a typical buffet restaurant, though no specific details were provided. No promotional information beyond the buffet format is available.

Went here for the first time the other day with my boyfriend to try them out and the food was pretty good, it wasn’t the best but it wasn’t horrible either, would definitely come back again in the future. The service was also good too.

Running a buffet is hard, if not enough people come, the food just sits there and this, even less people come. I think this buffet is stuck in that loop. The people that work there work really hard but there's only so much you can do if people aren't coming. Multiple times when I'm there for lunch I was the only customer in the entire restaurant. As much as I love having my own cafeteria, the food is better if it's getting turned over! This place has gone through many many names, iterations, and management companies. Wish it were better but as someone that LOVES buffets I can only really vouch for coming here if I'm desperate to eat lunch and have to wait in this area for hours for something. Otherwise there are better buffets out there. Also: they give you Verizon Fortune cookies 🤔

The worst buffet I have ever eaten at. I was skeptical when I walked in on a Friday night for dinner and there were not many people. Based on the current reviews, I still gave it a shot which I regret. The food was sitting there for a long time and got old. The stir fried was just randomly cook and it was uneven and burned with soy sauce. The crabs were still dirty with mud and cleaned well. When sitting there for more than an hour, the waiter started to behave like we need to leave quickly since we had the deserts. Also, you want to make sure your total cost is correct. The cashier randomly charged us some more cost. Lucky, I caught it before I paid. Stay away from this place.

Dinner time they have this snapper fish that is so good also the salt pepper shrimp is crispy as delicious. The tempura sushi is there most of the time, highly recommended. There's also soul food and other options and although by Dinner time those may be a bit dry the seafood, hibachi, sushi is worth it... also $11 for lunch... all you can eat.. that's a darn unbeatable deal won't lie... I got my moneys worth

Walked in looked like a ghost town. I read online that there was snow crab legs with dinner buffet. When we got there that was a lie. After we paid ( said online it would be $12.99 that too was a lie) as I walked around the “ super” buffet there was nothing super about it. Green beans were cold, rice was still hard, and everything else was cold. I will never go back there. It was better when it was a crack crab.
