A very plain and no-nonsense restaurant. Food was okay. Service was okay. The atmosphere is a little run down. A little hard to order if you don't speak Chinese. Parts of the menu don't have English at all. Worth a stop if you're into getting some quick simple foods that happened to be in English on the menu.

the kind of place anthony bourdain would film at… actual authenticity!! I got noodles with fish for $8.50 and was given a huge plate of linguine-shaped rice noodles sautéed with veggies and fish!! very filling. feel free to byob! no stuffiness, seems like regulars were chatting and it almost just feels like sitting in someone’s home. employees were extremely nice and treated me like a friend, everyone in the restaurant (~10 people) were chatting with each other across the tables… fun to watch :) my first review, they deserve it 🫶 cash only, plenty of ATMs nearby! give it a try!!!

For those in the know, he makes coastal Fujian province dishes. get a soup , a veggie and a steamed fish dish. It’s the highlight to my trips to NY. Owner/chef looks cranky but is actually a sweetheart.
