New Peking Chinese Restaurant

Food and service was good. Nice for quiet dinner for 2. Got the dinner for 2. It is a la cart style seemingly for dinner, but i did see lunch specials that are inclusive. It could have been quite expensive but we got the basic for our 1st visit.

A health inspector needs to visit this establishment when I ordered through DoorDash what first alarmed me is all items are Ala Carte never heard of a Chinese restaurant that fried rice doesn’t come with the meal that should’ve been a red flag but in fact I still patronized I ordered shrimp egg foo young and what arrived was astonishing, disgusting , inhumane and simply the most careless display of dog food I’ve ever seen don’t order from here if you care about yourself it’s extremely flabbergasting what they sold and sent I have never and would never again! If you don’t want to serve people what they people please find a business that better suits you this is insane don’t believe me see photo below

Can't believe no one has mentioned they have jajangmyeon (짜장면). Tastes pretty classic, but portion size is like a double portion and lots of meat. This is Korean Chinese food. It's getting harder to find as the restaurant owners retire and close. There is a Netflix show on it (Jajangmyeon Rhapsody) if you're interested. Posting this in case someone else is traveling here and looking for a taste of home.

I have been eating here years. The food is always fantastic. Try the Bong Bong chicken if you like sweet and spicy or the Peking if you like a sweet garlic sauce. Both are delicious!

Been eating at New Peking for two decades, back in those days it was a family business operated by the two brothers. The new owners had their hands full with Covid, only carryout orders back then for the longest time. They withered the storm and are up and running with full time hours and dine in. Hub and I drive from Riverview to eat here, food is very good and they give you generous portions. Employees are very kind and courteous, the place very well maintained. We ordered red pepper shrimp and Schezuan beef for dinner. Served to us in a timely fashion, and both entrees were hot and delicious. We always have leftovers to take home for lunch the next day. Prices are reasonable for what you get. They do a huge carry out business also. Recommend coming here and giving them a try, Debbie/ Riverview, Mich.
