About New Panda

New Panda is a Chinese restaurant located at 8340 Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19152. They can be contacted at (215) 722-5222 or +1 215-722-5222 for takeout and delivery orders.

Recent customer reviews offer contrasting experiences with New Panda. One customer, who had been a regular, reported a significant issue with a recent delivery order. They stated that due to difficulty hearing the person taking the order over the phone, the order was incorrect and contained pork, to which they are allergic. The customer expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of the situation, including a refusal to refund the order without taking back the food, which they found unhygienic. This experience resulted in the customer deciding to no longer patronize the restaurant.

In contrast, another customer reported a very fast delivery experience through Grub Hub. They ordered General Tso's chicken and sweet and sour chicken combo platters. While the delivery was quick, they found the meal to be average and were still in search of a consistently good and reasonably priced Chinese takeout option.

Based on these recent reviews, New Panda offers fast delivery services. However, potential customers should be aware of a reported issue regarding order accuracy and customer service, as well as a perception of average food quality for some dishes.

have been ordering from this place for a while.... no issues until there is... i placed a order for delivery, ... problem is... the kid at the counter answering phones is so soft spoken... you cant hear what he is saying.... im sure there is child labor laws that prohibit kids working at his age... so they took my order wrong.... delivered the food... i called to fix my order and got told the the roughly 12 year old kid that he said my order back... in which prior i was complaining i could not hear him... point being... they gave me pork in which im allergic to... i asked for my money back... and they refused.... i didnt appreciate how the situation was handled... they told me that they would send a driver out with money.... but would take the food back with them.... which is probably the most repulsive thing ive ever heard. Never heard of any food/restaurant or service that wouldnt just discard or refund the money especially me being a steady customer... also that i didnt complain about anything else in the order. these people lost my business.

The delivery was super fast. I ordered on Grub Hub. We ordered General Tso's chicken and sweet and sour chicken combo platters. The meal was average nothing special. I am still looking for a good consistent chinese takeout that is reasonably priced

Tuesday Night food was delicious. BUT, THEY NEED TO BE MORE CAREFUL; I FOUND BIG PIECES OF EGG SHELL IN MY SHRIMP AND LOBSTER SAUCE. This can perforate the Intestines and Kill Someone. IF IT happens again, the Dept. Of Health will be notified. No oppty. To show photo.

I order food from New Panda. My order had hair in it the hair was in the batter that they fry the shrimp in. So there's no way it could have been mines. I called them and sent them a picture and they basically told me I was lying. So I had to drive all the way back up there to receive a refund which is a 20-minute Drive. So this place is great if you like hair in your food and horrible service.

Best lo mein in the city hands down! Including better than any place in Chinatown! I haven’t tried anything else but lo mein is not an easy dish to make. I eat more Asian foods than any other. Trust me on this one lol some places make it too dry but this is just right IMO
