One customer who ordered delivery found most of the food to be "great," including the spring rolls, lumpia, shrimp pancit, and shrimp fried rice, noting generous portions of shrimp and reasonable prices. However, they found the egg drop soup to be bland and not to their liking. They indicated they would order again but would avoid the soup.
Another reviewer stated that the restaurant is not food allergy or vegan friendly and described the service as "not at all friendly."
A further negative review detailed an experience where a customer attempted to order vegetable chow mein and was informed that their chow mein is prepared with rice instead of fried noodles, contradicting the menu description. This customer, who had allergies, reported that the cashier was impatient and rude, ultimately canceling their order. Customer Reviews
Ordered delivery, so I can't rate the service or atmosphere. I gave it 4 stars only because the egg drop soup didn't taste right. It was really bland. The rest of the food was great. I had the spring rolls, the lumpia, shrimp pancit and shrimp fried rice. Generous with the shrimp unlike other Chinese places. Prices were reasonable. I'll order again, but definitely won't have the egg drop soup.
Not food allergy/vegan friendly. Not at all friendly. I went to order vegetable chow mein and the cashier explained their chow mein is vegetable rice. I've never heard that before, the menu even states fried noodles. I was going to still order, but had questions due to my allergies. I even looked up Mandarin words to help her understand what I was saying. Long story short, she was very impatient and rude. She ended up canceling my order. If there were descriptions on the menu I wouldn't have had to ask questions. I don't recommend. 0/5
Went here a few min ago, staff was friendly enough, didn't really say much. Food was ready earlier than expected (it shows 818 and I walked in around 813). Portions are good. Chicken Low mein is light, different than most. Seems to have lemon grass in it. The general tso, I requested extra spicy, it was not spicy at all. It has a tang to it I was not expecting while not bad it's not great. Overall it's decent food but far from a 5.
I very seldom give out 5 star reviews but this place deserves it. Simply the best hot and sour soup I have ever had at any Chinese restaurant. The General Tso's chicken tastes like it's home made rather than bag made. They have several fantastic options at reasonable prices. I recommend the Black Pepper Beef as well. Let me get back to this Hot and Sour soup. Making a clear soup is incredibly difficult. Making a clear soup that tastes good and the veggies clearly have knife marks on them consistently is amazing. Their Hot and Sour is clear to show the quality, delicious, and tangy.
I truely want to rate it as a 5, but unfortunately can't. Ordered Signapor pancit, it was excellent. But also ordered some egg rolls, they were too oily for my taste, still good, but when I drianed oil from them after taking a bite, I just can't give a five star. I understand they were probably just tossed in the fryer and soaked up oil inside, but at a minimum, I'd suggest they should've been patted dry on the outside to reduce the amount of oil. Oh, one other thing, if anyone is in the modeling industry, the woman who ran takes the orders is your next star. Seriously, I'd be curious who would take her place, fk`n beautiful.........the unfiltered statement after having a few mixed drinks...that is if this is even accepted to get posted...until next time, peace out internet
