About New Ming Wah Restaurant

New Ming Wah Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant located at 3415 Wrightsboro Rd in Augusta, Georgia, catering to the local community with a variety of Chinese-American dishes. As a member of the Chinese Restaurant category, New Ming Wah Restaurant likely offers both dine-in and takeout services. However, based on recent customer reviews, there appear to be significant concerns regarding their pricing, food quality, order accuracy, and customer service.

One customer, who visited based on positive reviews they had seen, found the restaurant to be "expensive for Chinese food or Oriental Chow." They also expressed concern about the extensive menu, suggesting that it might be indicative of lower quality. This reviewer stated their intention to seek other options for Chinese cuisine and mentioned that their experience was so negative it even made Panda Express seem appealing in comparison. Notably, this customer reported not receiving the curry noodles with curry sauce that they had ordered, indicating an issue with order fulfillment.

Another customer shared a highly negative experience with a recent order that included sweet and sour meatballs with pork fried rice, and lemon pepper chicken wings. This reviewer stated that the pork fried rice contained no pork and was burnt, a visible flaw they noted was not due to soy sauce. Furthermore, they reported being charged an extra dollar for the lemon pepper chicken wings but found that they had "barely lemon pepper on" them. When attempting to contact the restaurant about these issues, this customer described the "Young Guy" on the phone as "very rude," which prevented them from returning to the restaurant to address the problems. Ultimately, they were so dissatisfied with their $35 dinner that they had to get food elsewhere, deeming their purchase a waste of money.

Considering these two recent customer reviews, there are several significant issues highlighted regarding New Ming Wah Restaurant. One customer found the prices to be high for the type of cuisine, questioned the quality due to an extensive menu, and received an incorrect order. The other customer reported receiving poorly prepared food (burnt and missing ingredients), an upcharge for a poorly executed item, and rude customer service when attempting to resolve the issues. These experiences collectively paint a concerning picture regarding the restaurant's value, food quality, order accuracy, and customer service.

Based on the limited information, specific details about the restaurant's environment for dine-in customers are not provided. The reviews primarily focus on the food and service aspects related to takeout orders. There is no information available regarding delivery services, catering options, signature dishes (beyond the mentioned bourbon chicken and curry noodles, which both received negative feedback), or any specific promotional offers that New Ming Wah Restaurant might have.

For local users in Augusta, GA, considering New Ming Wah Restaurant, the available feedback raises several red flags. The reports of high prices relative to the perceived quality, incorrect orders, poorly prepared food, and rude customer service should be taken very seriously. Potential customers might want to exercise extreme caution and consider alternative Chinese restaurants in the area based on these negative experiences.

To gather more comprehensive information about New Ming Wah Restaurant's menu, potential dine-in options, or any explanations for the negative feedback, local users can contact them directly at (706) 736-1701 or +1 706-736-1701. Their address is 3415 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30909, USA. However, given the severity of the issues reported in the recent reviews, it would be advisable to proceed with caution and perhaps seek more positive recommendations from other local diners before patronizing this establishment.

In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for New Ming Wah Restaurant in Augusta, GA, present a concerning picture. Reports of high prices, poor food quality (burnt food, missing ingredients), incorrect orders, and rude customer service suggest significant issues that potential local users should be aware of. Based on this limited but strongly negative feedback, it would be prudent to carefully consider other Chinese restaurant options in the Augusta area before choosing to dine at or order from New Ming Wah Restaurant.

Hello fellow travelers and locals alive. I found this place to be expensive for Chinese food or Oriental Chow. How do you want to say it. I came here for the positive reviews. The menu was extensive, meaning quality is not good. I don't know about you but I will look for another place if you're looking for Chinese or Oriental. Imagine that, I thought Panda Express sounded good, after visiting this place, you'll never find me here again. No thank you. I will not visit Panda Express. I requested curry noodles with curry sauce and I did not get that.

Today I order sweet sour meatballs with pork fried rice and of lemon pepper chicken wings. The pork fried rice had no pork in it and it was burnt and you can see it being burnt and I did not put any soy sauce on it and the lemon pepper, chicken wings Was a fee of a dollar more but we barely lemon pepper on when I tried to call and tell him about it, the Young Guy was very rude to me on the phone and I was unable to go back to the restaurant. Was that satisfied with my food with my dinner I had to wind up Getting something else. This was a waste of $35 that I could use for something else.

New Ming Wah never misses. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and it's always been one of my favorite spots. The shrimp fried rice with lemon pepper chicken is my usual. It’s always hot, fresh, and really tasty. My friend usually gets the pork fried rice with almond chicken, and he loves it too. Some of the bad reviews seem to be from people who aren’t from around here. If you’ve been going for a while, you know the food is solid and consistent. The portions are good, the flavor’s always there, and it’s just a reliable spot. Still one of the best in town.

Very cute and stylish place. Loved the entry decor. Background music was at the perfect volume. Staff was friendly and professional. Food display was superb. Large portions. The food was good. The seating is set up to give you a bit of privacy, which is nice.

The food was phenomenal! I’ve dined in twice in the last month and I have no complaints. Also, the waitresses were kind and efficient. Food: -Beef and Broccoli (excellent) -Shrimp Tempura (just okay) -Spring Rolls (niiice) -Lo Mein & Sesame Chicken (delicious) -Chicken Wings (nothing special) -Cocktails: EVERYTHING! I would go back just to drink if the food wasn’t so good… but it is! Enjoy!
