About New Hong Kong Combo

Craving authentic Chinese food in Huntington Park? Look no further than New Hong Kong Combo, a Chinese restaurant located at 7068 Santa Fe Ave. This establishment falls under the platform category of Chinese Restaurants, offering a range of services and goods for sale to satisfy your culinary desires.

Based on customer reviews, New Hong Kong Combo can get quite crowded, indicating its popularity. The location is described as small, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. One notable feature is their promotional offer: buy 3 plates and get 1 free, providing great value for those looking to enjoy a variety of dishes.

Many customers have praised the freshness and deliciousness of the food. One reviewer mentioned getting four plates with two items each, along with four drinks, for a total of $39.10, highlighting the generous portions. They even noted that the plates were so full they could barely close, and they had enough food for a satisfying meal with leftovers. This customer highly recommends the place.

However, it's important to note that another review expresses a less positive experience under new ownership. This customer found the food to be of poor quality, describing the noodles as different, the orange chicken as soggy, the pepper chicken with green beans as having a nasty taste, the fried rice as dry, and the chicken egg roll as tasting stale. They also mentioned rude and rushed service and expressed their intention not to return, wishing for the return of the previous owners.

Regarding amenities, one customer mentioned the absence of a restroom, which they noted is common in smaller restaurants.

If you're in the Huntington Park area and looking for a Chinese restaurant, New Hong Kong Combo offers a special promotion and has received positive feedback regarding the freshness and taste of its food from some customers. However, it's advisable to consider the more recent negative review regarding food quality and service under new ownership. You can contact them at (323) 581-9888 or +1 323-581-9888 for inquiries or to place an order.

It gets so crowded!! Small location. Seating at first come first serve basis. Buy 3 plates and get 1 free. The food is so fresh and delicious. We got 4 plates with 2 items each. The 4 plates and 4 drinks for a rotal of $39.10. It was so much food. The plates bearly closed. We ate there and saved the rest for later. I highly recommend this place. I wish they had a restroom but most small restaurants don't have one.

First of all I "used to love coming here". The lady was nice and the food was good once upon a time. Now she isn't very friendly and she acts as if customers get on her nerves. Ok whatever, everyone hads a bad day. But ok. I can deal with her attitude. But what I CAN NOT deal with is how my food SPOILS within a few hours. I came in about 3. I ate a couple of bites and had to run an errand. By 6 pm my food had STUNK up my whole house. I mean it smelled like kimchi, dead rats, and skunks. If it will spoil within three hours, imagine what it will do in your stomach. I am SO Sick of Chinese food places in HP and South LA serving us reheated food that sours within hours. I know I'm not the only person experiencing this. It's HORRIBLE. We deserve FRESH food. Don't say I didn't warn you. If you knew better you would do better by us. I will NOT be coming here EVER again. Food poisoning isn't CUTE or healthy. I have permanently giving up Chinese food because of it, unless it's 🐼. I would love to see the owner eat his own food at the end of the day after leaving it sitting for a couple of hours. I guarantee he would have the same reaction as I did 🎯

I came to eat here for the first time ever and while having my plate made I noticed the junky smell then I decided maybe to give it another shot. I was accompanied by about 7 flies . I got up to ask for a bag to take my food to go and the woman on the line sever plates acknowledged jokingly “to many flies” and laughed. I will not be coming back here.
