About New Grand China

New Grand China is a Chinese restaurant located at 8450 Farm Rd #150, Las Vegas, NV 89131, USA. You can contact them at (702) 395-6262 or +1 702-395-6262. This establishment offers both dine-in and takeout services.

Customer reviews present contrasting opinions. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction, describing the Mongolian beef as poor quality and the overall food as reminiscent of "mall food." They also reported slow service and questioned the restaurant's high online rating, suggesting the possibility of inauthentic reviews. This customer stated they would not return.

Conversely, another customer shared a very positive experience, highlighting the good service and the great taste and large portion sizes of the food. They mentioned that ordering two items was sufficient to feed three people with leftovers. This reviewer also praised the politeness of the staff and the care taken with takeout orders, noting the thoughtful presentation in containers and the use of cardboard to prevent crushing – details they found uncommon at other establishments.

When considering New Grand China, it's important to acknowledge the differing opinions regarding food quality and service. While one customer had a notably negative experience, another praised the generous portions, tasty food, and attentive service, particularly for takeout orders.

Mongolian beef was the cheapest, grissliest, fattiest beef available. Everything we ordered screamed "mall food". Slow service. Not sure how this place is at a 4.2 rating. Probably fake reviews. Will not return.

Since New Grand China took the time to provide good service, I am taking the time to put this review in. The food is not only great tasting but the portion size is big. Ordering two food items from the menu fed 3 of us, and there are still leftovers. The staff are polite, unlike what I have experienced at China Go Go. On top of all that, they take care of putting together the takeout orders by presenting the food nicely in the containers and even placing cardboard in between the containers so they do not get crushed under the weight. This is attention to small details that you don't see from other places much.

Good food for good prices. One of the last places on my side of town that still makes Mongolian Beef the traditional way. Their egg flower soup is awesome and always an excellent comfort food. I've never had a bad meal from them. Highly recommend trying them.

Great atmosphere, outstanding food and service! I am originally from Northern California, an area with a ton of Chinese culture and great Chinese food. I grew up with a Chinese Godfather (who is now my acting father) as well. I just had a combination dinner where there was not a single bite that wasn't bursting with amazing flavor. They had the best hot & sour soup I've had in at least 5 yrs, best fried rice, egg roll, rangoon, and Mongolian Chicken that I've had in as many years as well. You must try it!

Not bad if you're craving Chinese. Service was speedy and friendly. Love that they have lunch specials on weekends! My daughter had the orange chicken lunch special and I had the mongolian beef. The specials include a vegetable egg roll, rice, and soup. I chose the hot and sour soup which was delicious. My daughter upgraded to wonton soup and didn't really care for it, she thought it didn't have any flavor. The portions are plentiful for lunch size and neither of us could finish it all. My daughter liked the orange chicken but the mongolian beef was a bit bland and lacked spice (heat). Over all, wasn't bad and will visit again if craving Chinese food.
