New Garden

New Garden has a great staff, skilled cooks, and a lovely atmosphere to enjoy your dish. Never had a bad meal and will continue giving them my business. The Dragon and Phoenix is delicious if you can handle a little bit of spice, but they also do a great Cashew Nut Chicken.

Had a bad meal here a few months ago but I always like to give a place a second chance. The bbq ribs had a bit of an odd taste and were tough and chewy. I then had a dish with shrimp, chicken and pork. The shrimp were ok but the chicken and pork were clearly overcooked and the entire dish was very bland. Also, it was noted that the men’s room had no soap. How do the employees wash their hands? I bet the Health Department would be interested. There are some good Chinese restaurants in Bradenton. This place is not one of them.

The food is great and the service is even better. Ordered online and they were very busy when we picked up food. Got home and realized we were missing one item. Called and not only did they apologize, but they offered to bring the item right to us. They delivered the missing item and threw in a some extra. Bravo for the great service!! And all the food was great.

After many years of eating in this place and seeing the deterioration of quality food and hygiene in the establishment, I have to say, "Do not eat here". This came out of one of their fortune cookies.... Gross. Main dish had cold Vegetables.

This place is expensive for no reason… And I still can’t believe I can’t order a side of sauté broccoli. They only have a large which is $12 or you can get a dinner combo which is 11 just for some broccoli… I only got two items which was shrimp, egg foo yong and shrimp fried rice and it came out to $29.. this isn’t my normal frequent however I didn’t know a lot of Chinese takeout spots were closed on Tuesdays so I was forced to come here.
