Customer reviews for New Fu Lins present a stark contrast in experiences, indicating a potential inconsistency in food quality and service. One customer expressed significant disappointment, citing the use of "cheap ingredients." Furthermore, this reviewer reported a serious issue with cross-contamination, stating that their order contained "bits of another dish," implying inadequate cleaning of cooking equipment between orders. This negligence reportedly led to a severe allergic reaction, highlighting a critical concern regarding food safety and handling practices at New Fu Lins. The reviewer's strong negative sentiment and declaration of "never again" underscore the severity of their negative experience and serve as a cautionary note for potential customers with food allergies.
In stark opposition to this negative feedback, another customer offered a glowing review, summarizing their experience with the concise statement: "TLDR: This is really good food." This reviewer, who generally does not favor Chinese cuisine, made an exception for New Fu Lins, expressing genuine enjoyment and a willingness to "try to pick some up whenever I'm in Morrisville." Notably, they recounted positive experiences ordering late on Christmas Eve for two consecutive years, a time when they would typically expect a decline in food quality from any restaurant. The fact that the food from New Fu Lins remained "excellent" even on such occasions led them to highly recommend the establishment. This positive review suggests that when prepared well, the food at New Fu Lins can be quite satisfying and even exceptional for some palates.
Given these divergent opinions, it is challenging to form a definitive overall assessment of New Fu Lins based solely on these two reviews. The severe allegation of cross-contamination and the use of cheap ingredients by one customer raises significant concerns about food safety and quality control. Conversely, the enthusiastic praise from another customer, particularly regarding consistency even during a typically demanding time, indicates that New Fu Lins is capable of producing high-quality dishes that can appeal even to those who are not typically fond of Chinese food.
As a Chinese restaurant, New Fu Lins likely offers a standard menu of popular dishes, which might include a variety of rice and noodle dishes, stir-fried meats, poultry, and seafood, as well as soups and appetizers. The specific ingredients and preparation methods used for these dishes appear to be a point of contention among the reviewers. Potential customers may want to inquire about the sourcing of their ingredients and their food handling procedures, especially those with allergies or dietary restrictions.
Information regarding the environment and services of New Fu Lins is limited in the provided reviews. The mention of takeout implies that this service is available. Whether they offer dine-in facilities is not explicitly stated, but it is common for Chinese restaurants to provide both options. The contrasting reviews do not offer any insights into the ambiance, cleanliness, or the attentiveness of the service staff, beyond the negative implication of "laziness" related to the alleged cross-contamination incident. Customers seeking information about the dining environment or the quality of in-house service may need to contact the restaurant directly or look for additional reviews online.
The features of New Fu Lins are somewhat ambiguous based on the conflicting feedback. On one hand, they seem capable of producing "really good food" that can win over even skeptical diners. On the other hand, there are serious allegations of poor ingredient quality and unsafe food handling practices. This inconsistency makes it difficult to pinpoint reliable features. Potential customers might consider the convenience of its location in Fairground Plz in Morristown and the availability of takeout as potential features, but the core feature – the quality and safety of the food – remains uncertain based on the provided information.
Currently, there is no promotional information available in the provided data. To learn about any special offers, discounts, or new menu items that New Fu Lins might be offering, it is best to contact the restaurant directly via phone or check if they have any online presence where such information might be shared. Local residents considering New Fu Lins might weigh the positive review against the serious negative feedback, particularly the allergy concern, before deciding to place an order or dine in.
In conclusion, New Fu Lins in Morristown, VT, presents a complex picture based on the limited customer reviews. While one customer lauded the food as "really good" and consistently excellent, even during busy times, another reported a deeply concerning experience involving potential cross-contamination and the use of cheap ingredients, leading to an allergic reaction. This significant discrepancy suggests a potential lack of consistency in food quality and safety practices. Local users should be aware of these contrasting experiences when considering New Fu Lins. For more information on their menu, services, and current promotions, and to address any concerns about food allergies and preparation methods, contacting the restaurant directly at (802) 888-1818 or +1 802-888-1818 is strongly recommended. Potential customers with food allergies should exercise extreme caution and directly inquire about the restaurant's allergen handling procedures before placing an order.

really disappointing. cheap ingredients. my order came with bits of another dish, like they re-used the pan without washing. well I have a severe food allergy so now I am suffering thanks to their laziness. the leftover food is in the trash, where it belongs! please spare Mo Vegas the suffering of poor quality food. never again
TLDR: This is really good food. I usually don't like Chinese food. Given the option I will almost always choose something else and I end up eating Chinese only when someone else who likes it really wants it. The exception is Nu Fu Lin's. I really like this food and will try to pick some up whenever I'm in Morrisville. I've ordered fairly late on Christmas Eve the last two years and if there is ever a time and day I'd expect food from any restaurant to be sub-par, its late on Christmas. The food was still excellent on a day when I wouldn't begrudge any other restaurant having an off night. I highly recommend this place.
All the fried food I had received was burnt which whatever, sucks but maybe it was a bad day. The person over the phone was super rude when placing my order, again maybe just a bad day, I can excuse that. But as I was eating the food I picked up from them I found a strand of metal mixed into my food that I had bit into. It appeared to be a piece from a metal scrub which only leaves me questioning the sanitation of this location, very displeased.
I have and always will recommend this place. By far the BEST Chinese food I have had, we go quite often 3 or so times a month or when in the area
This place is hands down the best food I've ever eaten. Everyone should try it. I will not get Chinese any other place. We travel 20 mins to pick it up.
