About New Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant

New Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant, located at 2775 Martin Rd, Dublin, OH 43017, USA, is a Chinese Restaurant offering a range of dishes. They can be contacted at (614) 793-1866 or +1 614-793-1866 for inquiries or to place orders.

Based on customer reviews, New Chopsticks is considered an affordable option, with one reviewer noting it as "one of the better secrets in town" for its price point. A significant feature highlighted is the large portion sizes, often exceeding what can be finished in one sitting.

Specific dishes mentioned include the Wor Su Gai with breaded chicken, which is described as "very good," and the fried rice, considered "above average." One reviewer noted that the "orange chicken broth completes the dish" (likely referring to the sauce accompanying the Wor Su Gai). However, it's advised to request hot oil and soy sauce to enhance the taste combination.

The wonton soup is rated as "average at best" but still satisfactory in taste for one customer. Another review of a lunch experience involving sesame chicken combo, sweet and sour chicken combo, wonton soup, and an egg roll was less positive. While the drinks were the highlight, the wonton soup was liked by one, and the rice was deemed just okay. A significant amount of the food from these combo meals was reportedly thrown away due to a "weird/off" flavor, leading one customer and their son to not want to return.

The restaurant is utilized for takeout by at least one customer and their coworker on a monthly basis, suggesting convenience for those seeking to eat elsewhere.

In summary, New Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant in Dublin, Ohio, is an affordable option known for its generous portion sizes. While some dishes like the Wor Su Gai and fried rice receive positive feedback, the quality and flavor of other items, such as the combo meals and wonton soup, appear to be inconsistent based on the provided reviews. Takeout service is available. Customers may need to specifically request condiments like hot oil and soy sauce to optimize the flavor of certain dishes.

For the price this place is one of the better secrets in town. Large portions I rarely finish in one seating. Wor su gai with breaded chicken is very good. The fried rice is above average. The orange chicken broth completes the dish. I will caution you that you really need to ask for hot oil and soy sauce to get the best taste combination. Wonton soup is average at best, but the taste is enough to satisfy. $9 or less with can of soda. I get takeout here with my co worker at least once a month.

Me and my son came in for lunch. They took our order right away and it was done in about 10 minutes. We ordered a sesame chicken combo, sweet and sour chicken combo, a small wonton soup, one egg roll two sodas…the best thing about our meal was our drinks. He likes his wonton soup, and the rice was just ok. But we the last picture below is how much food we threw away. The flavor (when there was any) was weird/off and even my son said he does not want to try this place again.

Ordered steamed dumplings and War Su Gai, very disapointed. The dumplings had no flavor and the chicken was very bland. I have ordered this dish many times from different resturants, the sauce is always thick the consistancy of a gravy. What we had today was greasy and thin. Poor example of American Asian food.

The food had no flavor. I ordered the Pork in Garlic sauce, and there was no garlic or garlic taste to it, and the pork was non-existent, mostly all vegetables. Very disappointing. We used DoorDash and everything was still hot, but the taste and quality were just poor. Wont order here again. Next time we'll use our normal place, Joy House, but they are closed on Monday's

The most remarkable thing about this restaurant is that they serve huge portions of reasonably good quality food at such a low price. At the time of this review (11/30/23), I paid $6.50 for a huge portion of Mala String Bean Chicken, with a side of Rice, and a Hot & Sour soup…. The only thing missing was any modicum of flavor. In fact, the most flavorful part of this meal was the white rice… and that’s only because I smothered it in Soy Sauce. I have to say that the Hot & Sour Soup, did have some flavor, but it was mostly just not a good one !!!
