About New China Restaurant

New China Restaurant is a Chinese dining establishment located at 105 US-80 SE, Pooler, GA 31322, USA. They can be contacted for orders or inquiries at (912) 988-1219 or their mobile number +1 912-988-1219. Situated on US-80 SE in Pooler, New China Restaurant serves the local community with a variety of Chinese culinary options, likely available for both dine-in and takeout.

Customer reviews for New China Restaurant present a mixed perspective, with one highlighting a significant issue with a specific dish while another praised the overall quality and value. One reviewer expressed considerable disappointment with their order of a large peppered steak. They reported that the dish was overwhelmingly composed of onions and bell peppers, estimating that there were only about three pieces of steak in the entire serving. For the price of $17, this customer felt that the meat-to-vegetable ratio was severely imbalanced and not commensurate with the cost. This feedback suggests a potential inconsistency in the preparation of certain dishes or a possible issue with quality control regarding ingredient proportions.

In contrast, another customer had a much more positive experience at New China Restaurant. They described the Chinese food as "Very good" and noted that a large portion was substantial enough to serve two people, priced at $12.20. This indicates that New China Restaurant offers generous serving sizes for some of its dishes at a reasonable price point. This reviewer also highlighted the use of "All fresh ingredients," suggesting a commitment to quality in their food preparation. Additionally, they mentioned that the stir-fry dishes come with a "generous portion of steamed rice," further emphasizing the value and quantity of food provided.

Considering these two reviews, New China Restaurant appears to offer dishes with fresh ingredients and generous portions, particularly the stir-fry options. The price point for a large serving, as mentioned by one reviewer, seems reasonable. However, there is a notable concern raised about the peppered steak, specifically regarding the disproportionately high amount of vegetables compared to the meat content for its price. This suggests that the quality and composition of different dishes on the menu might vary, or that there could be inconsistencies in their preparation.

Information regarding the environment of New China Restaurant is not provided in the available reviews. Details about the restaurant's ambiance, decor, cleanliness, or seating arrangements are absent. Local users who prioritize the dining atmosphere would need to visit the location to form their own opinion. Similarly, the specific services offered by New China Restaurant are not detailed beyond the likely options of dine-in and takeout, inferred from the nature of a typical restaurant and the ability to place phone orders. The availability of delivery services or online ordering platforms is not mentioned.

Features of New China Restaurant that can be gleaned from the reviews include the use of fresh ingredients in their stir-fry dishes and the provision of generous portions, especially for the price mentioned for a large meal. However, the potential for a significant imbalance of ingredients in certain dishes, such as the peppered steak, is also a notable characteristic based on the negative feedback. Without more reviews or information from the restaurant itself, it is difficult to identify other unique features that might distinguish New China Restaurant from other Chinese eateries in the area.

No information about any promotional offers at New China Restaurant is included in the provided reviews. Restaurants often have lunch specials, discounts on certain days or dishes, or other promotions to attract customers. To find out if New China Restaurant currently has any such offers, local users would need to contact them directly via phone or inquire in person. Checking for any online presence, such as a website or social media pages, might also provide information about promotions.

In conclusion, New China Restaurant in Pooler, GA, offers Chinese cuisine with some customers reporting very good food and generous portions made with fresh ingredients, particularly in their stir-fry dishes. The price for a large meal serving two people was noted as reasonable. However, there is a significant concern regarding the peppered steak, which one customer found to be overwhelmingly vegetables with very little meat for the price. Potential customers might find value in the generous portions and fresh ingredients of some dishes but should be aware of the reported issue with the peppered steak. Further information about the restaurant's environment, full range of services, specific features, and any promotions would require direct contact with New China Restaurant or visiting their location on US-80 SE in Pooler.

Ordered the large peppered steak, opened the box and it was 98% onions and bell peppers. There might have been 3 pieces of steak. For 17 dollars you’d think there would be a good meat to veg ratio but there isn’t.

WORTH IT!! It’s like a gem in the rough. My dad has always loved this place and I LOVE this place, I used to live down the street in high school. I would come frequently and the sweet owner would know my order. I now live 40 minutes away and I will make the trip cause there’s not a place I like better than New China. I get the Sweet and Sour Chicken, It’s good, it’s fried and comes with a cup of sweet and sour sauce. I get that with the Pork Lo Mien No Veggies Extra Pork 🩷 I planned my dad to bring it home one day a month in advance cause I’ve been basically dreaming about it!! Sending Love to the owners and their family!!

"New China Restaurant in Pooler, Georgia, just earned a loyal customer! I placed an order through Uber Eats for their Sweet and Sour Chicken, Sesame Seed Chicken, and took advantage of their buy-one-get-one-free fried wonton deal. From the moment I placed the order, I was impressed. The estimated delivery time was reasonable, but my food arrived even quicker than expected – piping hot and clearly freshly prepared. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was perfectly balanced, with crispy chicken and a tangy, flavorful sauce. The Sesame Seed Chicken was equally delicious, with tender chicken coated in a savory, slightly sweet sauce and a generous sprinkle of sesame seeds. And those fried wontons? Getting two orders for the price of one was a fantastic bonus! They were crispy, golden, and utterly addictive. What truly stood out was the quality of the food and the speed of the delivery. Everything arrived hot and fresh, as if it had just come out of the kitchen. It's clear that New China Restaurant takes pride in their food and service. If you're looking for delicious, hot, and fast Chinese delivery in Pooler, look no further. I'll definitely be ordering from them again!"

Ordered General Tso's chicken with white rice. I don't know what I got but it definitely was not General Tso's chicken. It was more like barbeque chicken with rice. No peppers, no onions and definitely not any heat. Pitiful....
