About New China Restaurant

Welcome to New China Restaurant, a Chinese restaurant conveniently located at 1103 Dunn Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32218, USA. As a Chinese restaurant in the Jacksonville area, a distinctive feature of our establishment is our drive-thru service, providing a quick and easy way for customers to pick up their orders without leaving their vehicles. You can place your order or inquire about our menu by calling us at (904) 714-9186 or via mobile at +1 904-714-9186.

Given that New China Restaurant offers a drive-thru service, the traditional dine-in environment may be limited or non-existent. The provided customer reviews do not offer any information regarding indoor seating or the ambiance of the restaurant. Therefore, our primary service focus appears to be on providing efficient takeout through our drive-thru.

The customer reviews available provide some insight into the services offered by New China Restaurant. The drive-thru service is a key feature, allowing for convenient and quick order pickup. Customers can place their orders over the phone and then easily collect their food without needing to park and enter the premises. This is particularly beneficial for those on the go or who prefer the convenience of remaining in their vehicles.

However, the limited customer feedback available also raises some concerns regarding the quality and preparation of the food. One customer who ordered the teriyaki chicken with pork fried rice reported that while the rice was acceptable, the chicken was overcooked to their liking, containing many hard pieces that made it difficult to enjoy. This suggests potential inconsistencies in the cooking of certain dishes.

Another customer ordered the Mongolian beef and, upon taking it home (as the establishment is a drive-thru), expressed significant dissatisfaction with the portioning of the dish. They noted that the plate was filled primarily with rice, with only a very small amount of beef (literally four slices) and about half an onion covering the rice. This feedback indicates a potential issue with the ratio of protein to rice in some dishes, leading to a perceived lack of value for money.

Considering these two recent customer experiences, it is difficult to highlight specific positive features of the food at New China Restaurant based solely on this information. The issues raised regarding overcooked chicken and disproportionately small protein portions are significant points of concern for potential customers. While the convenience of a drive-thru is a notable feature of the service, the quality and quantity of the food appear to be areas where New China Restaurant has faced recent criticism.

Features that can be inferred include a menu offering standard Chinese dishes such as teriyaki chicken, pork fried rice, and Mongolian beef. The primary service model is geared towards quick and convenient takeout via a drive-thru. However, based on the limited feedback, the consistency and quality of the food may vary.

No information regarding promotional offers, discounts, or special deals at New China Restaurant is available in the provided customer reviews. It is possible that they may offer certain promotions to attract customers, but there is no mention of any such initiatives in the feedback we have. To inquire about any potential current specials or meal deals, it would be best to contact New China Restaurant directly at (904) 714-9186.

In conclusion, New China Restaurant in Jacksonville, FL, is a Chinese eatery that primarily operates as a drive-thru, offering convenient takeout service. However, recent customer reviews have raised concerns regarding the quality of the food, with reports of overcooked chicken and disproportionately small protein portions in certain dishes. While the drive-thru service offers convenience, potential customers should be aware of these recent experiences. For those interested in trying New China Restaurant, contacting them directly for menu details and any potential promotions is recommended.

First time eating from this establishment & I ordered teriyaki chicken with pork fried rice. The tray of rice was fine, however, my tray of chicken was overcooked for my liking. The chicken had so many hard pieces that it was hard to enjoy.

Ordered Mongolian beef. This place is a drive thru, so I took it home. Normally on the plate the use one side for rice and the other for the protein of your choice. Not here… full plate of rice and the one side used for your protein they had literally 4 slices of beef and about half an onion covering the rice. Need I say more?

Always generous portions. Made fresh to order. Not a bad spot, not the best I've ever had but solid 4 stars.

Have been eating here for years! Have had a run in in the past when I asked for my sauce on the side he said it was on the food and when I got home it leaked out but he refused to give me a side! So today I order pepper steak and literally had maybe 4 pieces of steak called them and they said to bring the food back I said what is that gonna do how does that prove anything! She said well next time you come through ask for extra meat and we want charge you. They refuse to make it right and cheat you on food then deny it! She even said I know he put 8 pieces in there he always does but I trust you umm no you basically called me a liar by saying you know there was 8 pieces clearly there was not so yeah they call there customers liars! I will never give these people my money ever again! They need to be shut down because they are crooks!!! Look at all the peppers and onions but no meat this is ridiculous!!!
