About New China One

New China One is a Chinese restaurant situated at 6090 N Main St, Sandy Creek, NY 13145, USA. They can be contacted at (315) 387-6886 or their mobile number +1 315-387-6886.

According to one positive review, New China One offers "very good and reasonable" prices, with their lunch special being particularly praised as "the best." The staff is described as "very kind." This reviewer and their group enjoyed three lunch specials, egg drop soups, and steamed dumplings, specifically recommending the "pork fried rice," "sweet and sour chicken," and "chicken and cashenuts."

However, another customer reported a less satisfactory experience with a honey chicken, vegetable lo mein, and egg roll meal. They received a sweet and sour style chicken that was described as "spongy and soft not crispy," which differed from their expectation of honey chicken. While the chicken tasted fresh, the batter and texture were deemed incorrect and "kind of gross." The vegetable lo mein was considered "alright," and the egg roll was "good" but "a bit greasy." This reviewer expressed disappointment with the overall quality of Chinese food options in their area.

Overall, New China One appears to offer affordable options and friendly service, with their lunch specials and certain dishes like pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken with cashews receiving positive feedback. However, there may be inconsistencies in the preparation of some dishes, as indicated by the negative experience with the honey chicken.

I ordered honey chicken, vegitable lo mein, and eggroll meal...i got a sweet and sour style chicken that was spongy and soft not crispy...i am confused because it came with sweet and sour sauce but when i smelled the chicken it smelled like it had some type of honey sauce on it. The chicken tasted fresh but this was not the correct batter for honey chicken...i think the lady made sweet and sour chicken and just tossed the battered fried chicken in a honey sauce. The texture was all wrong...kind of gross to be honest.lo mein was alright and the eggroll was good, a bit greasy but tasted good. Im losing all hope in ANY delicious chinese food even close to my area...very dissappointed and i even left a tip😒

Food was really good! Not too much competition around and I felt wait times were pretty long compared to other Chinese take outs I e been too but hey it also takes 20 minutes to get around up here so it's not too long of a wait. Nice family run business.

We are so lucky to have this restaurant in Sandy Creek! When you live in a rural area you get used to having mediocre food or nothing. However, the food at China One rivals some of the best American Chinese food I've had, even at fancy restaurants. The sauces, especially, are delicate and flavorful, not the usual gelatinous blobs that you get elsewhere. This is a small facility with a few booths, so most people don't eat in, but the service is quick and friendly. Our favorites are the egg foo Yong, bean curd with vegetables, streamed dumplings, and szechuan chicken, but it's all good.
