A standout dish mentioned by this reviewer is the Springfield style cashew chicken, which both the reviewer and their husband ordered. They reported being thoroughly satisfied with their choice, describing it as "hot, fresh, and generous portions." Their high standards are emphasized by the fact that they are originally from Springfield, Missouri, the very place known as the "home of the Original cashew chicken." This endorsement from individuals with a strong connection to this regional specialty speaks volumes about the quality and authenticity of New China's version.

Another reviewer shared an overall positive experience, describing it as "good." However, they did mention a slight disappointment regarding the availability of fried rice. While this suggests a potential issue with inventory management or high demand for certain items, the overall sentiment remained positive enough to warrant mentioning the good experience despite this setback. This incident also hints at the popularity of New China, as they had run out of a staple dish during service hours.

We live in Warsaw and found this place after searching for somewhere other than Sedalia. I can't believe it took us this long to find, New China! The food is delicious, service is wonderful. My husband and I both ordered the Springfield style cashew chicken, we were not disappointed. Hot, fresh, and generous portions. We are picky because we are originally from Springfield (home of the Original cashew chicken). This place is a hidden gem. Can't wait to go back and try more items from their extensive menu. The price is great too.

Overall a good experience. But a little disappointed that after almost an hour drive to get there, they had ran out of fried rice just before my order ☹️

I ate here after a day on the Rock Island Trail coming in from Pleasant Hill. Bourbon Chicken, fried rice, crab rangoon. Food was very good, but service a very slow - 45 minutes from ordering to being served. Apparently it is best to order online ahead of time.

I am not sure about what they pass off as "meat". I have gotten sick the last two times we have ate there. The chicken and beef do not have the texture of real beef and chicken. Both are mushy and tasteless. Not going back ever. Beware.

Nice people, food is good but the fried rice is a little plain for my taste. I like the mushrooms and veggies and egg in fried rice cooked in soy sauce... you know, St. Louis style fried rice. But for what it is in a little town its good.
