To provide an objective introduction to New China for local users, it is essential to consider the recent feedback shared by customers who have experienced their food. These reviews offer direct insights into the quality and taste of their dishes, as well as other aspects of their service.

One customer recounts a particularly negative experience with the pineapple chicken, describing it as "the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had." They elaborate on the dish's lack of taste and its unappealing texture, noting that the pineapple appeared "gray." The preparation was likened to boiling the chicken and vegetables and then coating them in a "clear sauce." The lo mein also received criticism, with the reviewer pointing out the "tiniest shrimp" and an overall "sub par" taste. Although they did not personally try them, their son reported that the steamed dumplings "didn’t have much of a taste." A significant issue for this reviewer was the insufficient quantity of rice provided, as they received only one serving for five people, meaning not everyone in their party could have rice with their meal. The reviewer also noted that the meal was not inexpensive. The only positive aspect mentioned was that the "fried food was decent," which was the basis for their two-star rating, along with the restaurant being open.

Another customer's experience focused on the honey chicken, which they found to be "super hard and dry." They further described the chicken as tasting "extremely old and flavorless," stating that it was "more like chicken skin covered in sauce." This reviewer gave a clear "Thumbs down!" to their experience, indicating significant dissatisfaction with the quality of this particular dish.

Based on these two recent customer reviews, it appears that New China in Etters, PA, has received negative feedback regarding the quality and taste of several of its dishes. The pineapple chicken was described as having poor taste and texture, with discolored pineapple. The lo mein was criticized for containing very small shrimp and having a subpar overall taste. The steamed dumplings were also reported to lack flavor. Additionally, there was a concern about the insufficient amount of rice provided for a group order. The honey chicken was found to be hard, dry, and tasting old. However, one reviewer did note that the fried food was decent, which was a minor positive point in an otherwise negative experience.

As a Chinese restaurant, New China likely offers a range of standard Chinese cuisine, which typically includes various appetizers, soups, fried rice and noodle dishes, and a selection of main courses featuring different meats, poultry, and seafood. The specific dishes mentioned in the reviews, such as pineapple chicken, lo mein, steamed dumplings, and honey chicken, are common offerings in many Chinese restaurants. However, the negative feedback suggests potential issues with the preparation and quality of these items at this particular establishment.

For local users in Etters, PA, the recent reviews of New China indicate significant concerns about the taste, texture, and quality of some of their dishes, including the pineapple chicken and honey chicken. There was also a complaint about the portion of rice provided for a group order and the flavor of the steamed dumplings. While one reviewer found the fried food to be decent, the overall sentiment in these reviews is negative, particularly regarding the main entrees. Potential customers may want to consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to order from New China.

Given the limited and negative feedback available, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive introduction to the environment, services, features, or any potential promotional information for New China. The reviews primarily focus on the food quality. Local users may want to exercise caution and perhaps consider these recent experiences before placing an order. It might be prudent to inquire about the freshness and preparation methods of specific dishes when contacting the restaurant, based on the issues raised in the reviews.

To get a more complete picture of New China, local residents might look for additional, more positive or balanced reviews from other sources. However, based solely on the provided information, there are clear concerns regarding the quality and taste of several menu items, which should be taken into consideration by potential customers in the Etters, PA area.

The pineapple chicken was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. It had zero taste and the texture was off. The pineapple was gray. It was like they boiled the chicken and vegetables and put it in a clear sauce. The lo mein had the tiniest shrimp in it and the overall taste was sub par. I didn’t have any but my son said the steamed dumplings didn’t have much of a taste. They only gave us one rice for five people so not every one could get some with their meals. It wasn’t cheap either. The fried food was decent. I’m giving it 2 stars because the fried food was good and it was open.

Love this place! It’s great for takeout. The food doesn’t all taste alike like most other Chinese restaurants. Generous portions. Thank you New China!

Food was average at best. Their egg roll was bland, house fried rice not the best however their French fries and speed is amazing. Would only go for quick grab.

Best Chinese place I've ever gone to and the only one that I go to since moving to the area in 2020. The only one I've seen with a line out the door and down the sidewalk?
