About New China Fun

New China Fun is a Chinese restaurant located at 2116 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534, USA. As a member of the Chinese Restaurant category, New China Fun aims to serve the local community with a variety of Chinese dishes, offering both the convenience of takeout and the option to dine within their establishment. They can be contacted at (919) 739-8688 or via mobile phone at +1 919-739-8688 for inquiries or to place orders.

Based on the limited customer feedback available online, there are varying perspectives on the overall experience at New China Fun. One customer, who was seeking a new favorite Chinese restaurant after their previous choice closed, expressed a positive view, stating that New China Fun is even better than their former preferred spot and consistently tastes great. This suggests that New China Fun has the potential to provide satisfying and flavorful Chinese cuisine that appeals to local palates.

However, another customer who attempted to dine in shared a less favorable experience concerning the cleanliness of the dining area. This reviewer described a table as "gross and sticky" and recounted an interaction with a staff member when requesting cleaning supplies. According to the review, the staff member appeared confused and only offered dry paper towels, reportedly shaking their head and walking away when asked for spray or cleaner. This incident raises concerns about the attention to cleanliness in the dine-in area and the responsiveness of staff to such requests. The reviewer also expressed confusion regarding the restaurant's reported sanitation rating of A 100.0 in light of this observation.

Despite the cleanliness concerns in the dining area, the same reviewer who opted for takeout after the table incident described the food as "decent" and noted that the portions were good. However, they also mentioned that the prices were "expensive," indicating that while the food itself might be satisfactory in terms of taste and quantity, it may come at a higher cost compared to other local options. This is an important factor for potential customers to consider, especially those who are price-sensitive.

The fact that New China Fun holds a sanitation rating of A 100.0 is a significant piece of information that suggests a high standard of hygiene and food safety practices according to local health inspections. This rating contrasts with the negative observation regarding the cleanliness of a specific table by one customer. It is possible that the reported sticky table was an isolated incident or a temporary oversight. Nevertheless, the discrepancy highlights the importance of consistent maintenance of cleanliness throughout the establishment, especially in areas where customers dine.

Given the limited information, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive description of the restaurant's overall environment. The mention of a sticky table suggests that at least some part of the dine-in area might not be consistently well-maintained. However, without further details or additional feedback, it is difficult to generalize about the entire ambiance or decor of the restaurant. Potential dine-in customers may want to consider this feedback or perhaps visit and assess the environment for themselves.

In terms of services, New China Fun offers both dine-in and takeout options, catering to different customer preferences. The positive review regarding the taste of the food suggests that the kitchen staff is capable of preparing enjoyable Chinese dishes. However, the interaction described by the customer who requested cleaning supplies indicates a potential area for improvement in staff responsiveness to customer needs, particularly concerning cleanliness in the dining area. Efficient and helpful service is crucial for a positive dining experience, regardless of whether a customer is dining in or taking food to go.

The features of New China Fun, based on the limited information, seem to include generally good food quality and generous portion sizes, albeit at a potentially higher price point. The sanitation rating of A 100.0 is a notable feature indicating adherence to health and safety standards. However, the conflicting customer experience regarding cleanliness in the dine-in area is a point that prospective customers might want to keep in mind.

Currently, there is no information provided regarding any specific promotional offers or unique dishes that might be a particular draw to New China Fun. Local users interested in knowing about any specials or signature items would need to contact the restaurant directly at the provided phone numbers.

In conclusion, New China Fun in Goldsboro, NC, is a Chinese restaurant offering both dine-in and takeout services. While one customer praised the taste of the food and found it to be an improvement over a previous favorite, another reported issues with the cleanliness of a dine-in table and noted relatively higher prices. The restaurant holds a high sanitation rating, which is a positive indicator of their hygiene practices. Potential customers may experience decent food and good portions but should be aware of the reported cleanliness concern for dine-in and the potentially higher cost. It might be advisable for those planning to dine in to assess the environment upon arrival. For those opting for takeout, the positive feedback on food taste suggests a potentially satisfying meal. For information on specific menu highlights or promotions, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

Tried to dine in. The table was gross and sticky, so I asked the lady up front for a rag or something with spray. She looked at me confused and handed me some dry paper towels. I asked for spray or cleaner and she shook her head no and walked away in the weirdest way. Lol. Needless to say, I took the food to-go. I'm confused on how this place has a sanitation rating of A 100.0.. Food was decent. Good portions, but expensive.

What can I say, it’s cheap Chinese American food. And they give you a lot of of it. It smells and taste like it should. Prices are reasonable. The best thing about it was that the people servicing you at the counter were very friendly.

Went in and waited for about 5-10 minutes. Waited patiently because they were busy. A lady came in and jumped right in front of us. I kept saying excuse me, and neither the cashier or the lady acknowledged me or my husband, so we left . I will not be going back.

They take deliveries through the front door and the delivery driver always parks to block most of the parking spaces affecting the other business
