About New China Dragon

Welcome to New China Dragon, a Chinese Restaurant located at 18157 Carson Ct NW Suite G in Elk River, MN 55330, USA. For local users in Elk River seeking Chinese food, New China Dragon offers takeout services based on the available customer reviews. The restaurant can be contacted at (763) 241-9886 or +1 763-241-9886 for placing orders or making inquiries about their menu and services.

The services offered by New China Dragon appear to be primarily focused on takeout, as both of the provided customer reviews describe experiences with food ordered to go. There is no mention of dine-in service or the ambiance of the restaurant itself. Potential customers looking for takeout Chinese food in Elk River can contact New China Dragon via the provided phone numbers to place their orders.

Since both reviews detail negative experiences with the food quality for takeout, there is no positive information available regarding the environment or atmosphere of New China Dragon. One reviewer's comment about the service being comparable to a visit to the DVM (presumably implying an unpleasant experience) suggests that the overall customer interaction, at least in the context of a problematic order, was not satisfactory.

The features of New China Dragon, based on the limited and negative customer feedback, include a menu with standard Chinese dishes such as spicy chicken with vegetables, chicken fried rice, cream cheese wontons, General Tso's chicken, lo mein, and egg rolls. However, the quality of these features, as reported by recent customers, is significantly concerning. One reviewer found the spicy chicken with vegetables to be much worse than they had experienced elsewhere, noting it was bland, not spicy, and lacked fresh vegetables. The chicken fried rice was described as simply fried rice with what appeared to be boiled chicken added, also lacking flavor.

The second reviewer's experience was even more negative, describing multiple dishes as poorly prepared. The cream cheese wontons were reported to be limp, oily, raw, and cold simultaneously, with the reviewer claiming to be picking raw dough from their teeth while writing the review. The General Tso's chicken was described as soggy and not spicy. The lo mein noodles were found to be dry and old, and the egg roll appeared to have been crushed. Additionally, this customer reported receiving their $35 order with no utensils, sauces, or napkins, further contributing to a highly unsatisfactory experience.

Currently, there is no information available in the provided reviews regarding any promotional offers or discounts at New China Dragon. Given the severely negative feedback concerning food quality and service, it is difficult to ascertain whether they have any initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction or attracting new business. Local users interested in any potential promotions would need to contact the restaurant directly at (763) 241-9886 to inquire, but should do so keeping in mind the recent negative experiences reported by other customers.

In summary, New China Dragon in Elk River offers Chinese takeout, but recent customer reviews indicate significant and concerning issues with the quality and preparation of their food. Dishes such as spicy chicken with vegetables and chicken fried rice were described as bland and poorly executed. Appetizers like cream cheese wontons were reported to be raw and cold, while the General Tso's chicken was soggy, and the lo mein dry and old. One customer also reported a missing order of utensils, sauces, and napkins. The overall service experience was also negatively commented on. Local users considering New China Dragon for takeout should be aware of this strongly negative feedback and might want to explore other Chinese dining options in the Elk River area. For any inquiries about their menu or services, they can contact the restaurant directly at (763) 241-9886, but with a clear understanding of the recent customer experiences.

For local residents of Elk River seeking Chinese takeout, New China Dragon is an available option. However, the extremely negative reviews regarding the food quality should be a major deterrent. The reports of raw appetizers, soggy entrees, bland dishes, and missing condiments paint a picture of a restaurant that is currently failing to meet basic standards of food preparation and service. Potential customers should exercise extreme caution and might want to consider alternative Chinese restaurants in the area that have received more positive feedback. The severity of the issues reported suggests a significant risk of a disappointing and potentially unpleasant experience when ordering from New China Dragon.

The features of New China Dragon, based on the overwhelmingly negative reviews, are unfortunately associated with poor quality. While they offer a standard menu of Chinese takeout items, the execution of these dishes, according to recent customers, is severely lacking. The reported issues range from bland flavors and improper cooking to missing essential items with the order. This suggests a significant need for improvement in their kitchen practices and quality control. Local users seeking reliable and enjoyable Chinese takeout in Elk River would likely be better served by choosing an establishment with more positive and consistent customer feedback.

In conclusion, New China Dragon in Elk River has received very negative reviews regarding the quality of its takeout food, with multiple reports of poorly prepared and unpleasant dishes, as well as issues with missing items in orders. Local users are strongly advised to consider this feedback before placing an order. Exploring other Chinese restaurant options in Elk River with more favorable reviews would likely lead to a more satisfactory dining experience. For any inquiries, the restaurant can be contacted directly, but the recent customer experiences should be a significant factor in any decision to order from New China Dragon.

I've had much better spicy chicken with vegetables. Chicken fried rice just had what looked like boiled chicken added to fried rice. Very bland tasting, not spicy at all, not many fresh veggies. Probably wouldn't revisit this place.

The Cream Cheese wontons were limp, oily, raw and cold all at the same time. (I'm picking the raw dough from my teeth as I type this) The Generals tso was soggy and wasn't spicy at all. The lo mein noodles were dry and clearly old, and my egg roll looked like it was sat on. No utensils, no sauces, no napkins, and 35$ with service that made the DVM more understandable.

The young man that was on register was rude. He threw my change at me. They don’t receive much business it seems because There was no foot traffic while I waited for twenty minutes for my food. Most people went into dominos or jimmy johns. I wish I wasn’t craving Chinese food. The fried rice tasted like it was sitting for ages and the chicken was overly fried. I also got shrimp and snow peas with garlic sauce with a side of white rice. That was pretty good. I just can’t do a business that doesn’t enjoy being in business. I gotta learn to make my own Asian inspired food because customer service isn’t hitting.
